The boat

This is my family's Centurion Ski / Wake boat that will provide you and your guests an endless amount of fun on the water!

The boat comes stocked with wakeboards, ropes, surfboard, towable and life jackets for all ages! (Please let me know after booking how many jackets and what sizes you need).

The boat can fit up to 10 people / 1330 lbs onboard for a full day or multiple days of exploring Lake Lanier!

This boat is perfect if you are renting a house with a dock and want to take advantage of the lake during your stay. Multiple day bookings preferred and discount are available on bookings of 3 days or more.

This is a serious ski boat for those who love water sports. If you have ever rented a boat on Lake Lanier, you might have been disappointed (as I was) to rent a boat which was a good 'all-rounder’ and was lots of fun, but lacked that cutting edge when it came to serious fun!

This boat throws a beautiful wake to perfect your tricks but more importantly, by using the tower tow point, it will help those just starting to ski easily get up on a board and progress much faster than using a generic pontoon boat.

The ski tower will pull even the heaviest skier out of the water with ease, so those dads; athletes in their prime who have maybe let themselves go (like me) will pop straight out of the water like Poseidon rising from the deep only to belly slap the water seconds later, causing a mini tsunami whose creation will be welcomed by thunderous laughter.

The stereo, with speakers and subwoofer mounted at floor level combine with the tower speakers to allow you to rock out to your favorite tunes whilst lake loitering or skiing!

When it comes to towing a tube, there is no other boat which is this much fun! Generic boats available on the lake to rent, like ones we have rented in the past, have been fun but it was always difficult to get the tube into that sweet spot of speed and jeopardy!

In comparison, the turning performance combined with the wake thrown by this boat, (which can be adjusted with the switches on the console), was designed for skiing and that makes tubing with this machine…..more fun! When you put a tube behind this boat, you do not need to have hours of experience getting to know the boat, knowing when to turn or when to apply power to get the best sideways trajectory on the tube; the boat does this automatically. With this boat you are in for the tubing ride of your life and ‘accidentally' throwing kids off the towable is simple - and immensely satisfying.

If water sports are not your thing, this boat is a brilliant option for your vacation! The boat not only looks incredible, but fast. Topping out at around 40mph which when considering Lake Lanier is over 26 miles long and you want to get to lunch and cocktails at Margaritaville in a hurry, this boat will get you there in minutes!

If lake exploration or simply loitering around a cove with friends on hot summer days sounds more like your idea of heaven, the sound system will keep you entertained for hours at a time. Pair your phone via bluetooth to the stereo and play your favorites. Keep in mind that people live on this lake, so pumping out 80’s classic rock at max volume will not be appreciated by anyone else except you and your guests.

I will deliver the boat to you with a Yeti cooler pre chilled and stocked with water and Gatorade to get you on the water as quickly as possible.

I have also installed a Go-Pro on the tower which you are more than welcome to use to record your families day activities. It will come without an SD card so if you want to use it please remember to bring one with you, or I can provide for a fee.

As this is my families boat and a dedicated, high performance water sports machine, I do have a few rules for the rental the boat:

Once we have the date and time of the booking confirmed, I will bring the boat directly to you at your dock. You will need to be there to accept the boat. We will have a 30-40 minute review of the boat so you fully understand how to operate the boat and the rules of the lake to keep your guests safe whilst out on the water. Lake Lanier is safe to enjoy so long as you understand the rules and the signage.

Once we have gone over the features of the boat, we will take a short ride back to the boat ramp where I put the boat into the water earlier. This is the practical part of the demonstration so I am comfortable that you can safely handle the boat - and of course to drop me back at my truck and trailer!

I will allow renters with limited boating experience but regardless of previous experience, I will make sure you fully understand the boat before I hand over the keys. If I feel you are irresponsible or not understanding the physics or basic's of boating, (ie the boat will turn faster when you going faster, it won’t turn without power or will turn very slowly, or, knowing that pulling the power to idle will not immediately stop the boat so don’t approach fallen tube or ski riders head on, or, make sure you run the blower before cranking the engine, or, drunk boat driving / BUI carries the same if not greater penalties by police( as a few examples), I will cancel the booking and refund your payment. More accidents are caused on the water due to drunk and irresponsible people than anything else and I want to make sure my guests return to use the boat again next year by ensuring they are safe operators.

The boat will come with a full tank of gas so please make sure you return it full. There are numerous gas pumps on the lake so please ensure you return it full otherwise there will be an additional charge for the gas.

The boat also has a selection of sun screens which you are free to use. When everyone is rushing to maximize your time on the water, sunscreen always gets forgotten. It has happened to us all, but the sun at Lake Lanier is deceptively powerful and you will burn quickly. Please feel free to use any items on the boat to maximize your time on the water.

Please make sure to tip your dock attendants when you fill up with gas or dock for lunch. Cash is the another item that is frequently forgotten when boating but tipping attendants will get you special attention when you use their services. I have put a small wallet next to the sunscreen with $20 in $1 bills in there. If you forget your cash, you are welcome to use this money for tipping but please ensure you replace it before the end of your booking.

Pets are allowed on the boat but we ask that you put down towels to protect the seat coverings from stains and damages. I know that I will need to detail the boat after you have completed your booking, but excessive stains, dog poop and other damage will need to be repaired.

Multi-day rentals will get priority (and discount) during this peak summer season. I do not have an issue with single day bookings (if those days are not already booked), but the minimum rental cost will be 8 hours - regardless whether you want to use the boat for 8 hours, or 3.
