Get ready for an unforgettable day on the water! Our 2025 Yamaha AR250 twin-engine 400 hp jet boat is safe, reliable, and perfect for exploring a variety of Florida's beautiful waterways. We'll give you a full orientation 30 minutes before you're rental time so you feel completely comfortable operating the boat before you head out.
The spacious design is great for families. With no exposed propellers, the swim platform is a safe place for kids to play and for everyone to relax. You can anchor at a Boca Grande sandbar, grab a bite at a waterfront restaurant, spot manatees, or simply cruise and enjoy the scenery.
Important: Delivery Fee: $100
Please note that a $100 Delivery Fee applies to all rentals, regardless of duration. This fee is separate from your Boatsetter payment and must be paid in person at check-in.
What does this fee cover?
This charge ensures your rental is seamless and well-maintained by covering:
• Transport: Delivery to and from Laishley Boat Launch.
• Fueling: Trips to Fisherman’s Village for refueling (often required next-day as it closes at 5pm).
• Maintenance: Post-rental internal and external cleaning and flushing both engines with Salt-Away to prevent corrosion.
• Equipment: Provision of two coolers, and all necessary life jackets.
• Watersports Equipment (+$50): Wakeboard, skis, tube, and ropes. Ropes damaged from getting sucked into jet intakes subject to $75 replacement cost.
MEETING and CHECK-IN
• Location: 100 Nesbit St, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 (Lashley Park Boat Ramp).
• Docking: I will email you pictures of the meeting location attached to the boat ramp.
• Arrival: The check-in process takes about 30 minutes so please arrive 30 minutes early.
• Timing/Insurance: Insurance begins and ends at the specified rental times.
• Post-Boating: You can walk to TT’s for drinks and music, or dine at Lashley’s Crab House (one of our favorites) which has indoor/outdoor dining and bars. Alternatively, all restaurants and ice cream stores in Punta Gorda are within walking distance.
WATERSPORTS ADD-ONS
(Available for a small additional charge at launch)
• Tube, Wakeboard and Skis ($50 total) for all three.
FUELING FEES
• The boat has a 75-gallon tank of non-ethanol marine fuel currently $6.50 per gallon…ouch! The gauge may show ~93% when idle but 100% when at speed.
• Fuel Deposit: $250
• Settlement: At checkout, we will either reimburse the difference or collect the overage.
DESTINATIONS and WEATHER
• Main Areas: Boca Grande Sandbar, Cayo Costa State Park, Cabbage Key (Inn/Restaurant), and Burnt Store Marina (good halfway stop on your way home if waves are rough).
• If it's Windy: Avoid crossing Charlotte Harbor. Instead, visit:
o Peace River: Beautiful, private beach areas, and the best spot for skiing/wakeboarding.
o Nav-i-gators: A very laid-back indoor/outdoor restaurant.
o Fisherman’s Village or Riviera Bar and Grill.

- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
