Day sails on classic sailing yacht

The Hylas 44 is a Germán Frers design blue water sailing yacht. This yacht has sailed extensively across oceans and for the last few years has been based in south Florida and the Bahamas. Your 1/2 day sail will depart for 4 hours from the Venice isles of Fort Lauderdale . We will be passing multi million dollar homes and clear 2 Bridges before getting out onto the ocean off of Fort Lauderdale . Depending on weather and sea state we might be able to stop and swim/snorkel. Captain Alex is always willing to provide informal instruction. You can participate as much or as little as you like. On board you’ll find restrooms (heads) refrigerator and freezer. Ice and water are provided. You may bring your own food or if you’d like to have your trip catered you’ll be able to arrange that separately with Captain Alex. Captain Alex's first mate is a Norfolk Terrier named Dory whom you'll meet as well.
