The boat

Alaskan Song is a 96′ motor yacht offering adventure charters in Southeast Alaska. She is a stunning vessel that combines classic charm with modern amenities and comfortable accommodations. Alaskan Song was originally built for the Army Air Corps as a search and rescue vessel specifically designed to be fast and strong in order to get to downed pilots in the pacific during world war two. She was launched in 1944. In the mid-1970s she was fully converted to a motor yacht.



As you step aboard the yacht, you’ll be struck by the vessel’s beautiful woodwork and traditional design. The yacht’s spacious deck provides plenty of room to relax and take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Inside, you’ll find comfortable and tastefully decorated cabins, each with its own private bathroom. The yacht also has a dining area and a cozy living area, making it the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring.

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
