Rose moved to Badin Lake in 2021 to develop a nonprofit retreat called The Delsa. The location was ideal! Badin Lake borders the Uwharrie National Forest offering a multitude of outdoor activities, it’s only a few hours to the Atlantic Ocean, a few hours to the Blue Ridge Mountains, and sits between the four largest cities in North Carolina. The best of all worlds! When she arrived and wanted to explore the lake, she found that there were no boat facilities to rent boats and very few available by private owners, so in a desire to provide a way for others to enjoy the lake, she opted to purchase a boat and rent it out herself! She also has a lakefront Home and Cottage that can be rented out as well if you’re looking for a place for a short term stay on Badin Lake!

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
