Hi Everyone.
Fall and summer sailing is behind us and it is down right cold in Annapolis and the National Capital Region. We have shut down ESCAPE for the winter and will be back in business and ready to charter in April.
We had a great summer with a lot of fun charters and are getting ready for the 2025 season. There is always maintenance and upgrades for ESCAPE during the off months and we’re busy with those. We are also looking at a few new offerings for 2025.
—First, we expect our prices to come down from 2024 which is good news. I don’t think anyone will oppose lower prices this day and time.
—Second, we will participate in BoatSetter’s new Explorer program with some special packages to St. Michaels, Oxford or Columbia Maryland for up to 3 couples that will include provisions for breakfast, lunch and snacks. The package rates will be discounted from our regular daily rates. Day 1, we sail to our destination of choice and do some site seeing or attend a local festival. The guest will be free in the evening to have dinner at one of the local restaurants. Day 2 we’ll wrap up our local site seeing and sail back to home port. Guest will have the option to stay on ESCAPE the night before we leave. So start planning your private ESCAPE across the The Chesapeake Bay
We will publish the new rates and packages in January so keep an eye out.
From the ESCAPE family to yours, we wish you a happy holiday season and a warm and cozy winter.
Thanks for the great 2024 season.

About ESCAPE
Welcome aboard ESCAPE, our 43-foot, 2006 Leopard sailing catamaran. Over the past three years, we have meticulously maintained and upgraded ESCAPE to ensure it remains in top condition. With over 15 successful charters on Boatsetter and a consistent 5-star rating and 100 percent response rate, ESCAPE offers an unforgettable sailing experience.
Comfort and Luxury at Sea:
ESCAPE boasts four spacious cabins, each equipped with a private head and shower and a queen-size bed. The modern galley and salon are perfect for meal preparation, relaxation, and dining. The salon features a unique hand-carved "Virgin Islands" table, comfortably seating six guests for indoor dining. The cockpit area is ideal for alfresco dining, protected by a hardtop bimini with full enclosures for inclement weather. With cushioned seating, it’s the perfect spot for lounging, reading, napping, or simply unwinding as you sail.
At the bow, ESCAPE offers a large trampoline area, perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, stargazing, or enjoying the journey. It’s also the best spot to catch sight of a playful pod of dolphins.
Water Access and Recreation:
ESCAPE features two swim platforms and a ladder for easy water access, and our crew will find the perfect spot for a refreshing swim. We provide floats for those who want to relax in the water.
Under sail, ESCAPE performs beautifully with its mainsail and roller-furled genoa. If you're new to sailing, you’ll be pleased to know that catamarans like ESCAPE remain stable without heeling over. You can set your drink down and trust it will stay put or take a nap without bracing yourself. Should the wind die down, our two auxiliary diesel engines ensure we reach our destination.
Onboard Amenities:
ESCAPE is equipped with two refrigerators, 200 gallons of freshwater, and air conditioning and heating. Enjoy the convenience of electric heads and a 12-foot tender with a 20-horsepower outboard motor, perfect for exploring areas that ESCAPE can’t access. In addition, our state of the are radar and navigation system always keep us on track. ESCAPE is fully equipped with safety equipment that meets USCG standards.
