Welcome aboard! Capt. Chuck specializes in unique boating and fishing adventures on the South River and Tours of the Thomas Point Light House. Captain Chuck Gassert has had a life long love affair with the sea. He joined the Navy in 1978 and traveled all over the world eventually settling in Maryland. While not working on the water he is a Program Manager for the US Navy and a Federal Civilian. He has been a Certified Coast Guard 100 Ton Licensed Merchant Marine Captain for 15 years. --- Whether it is cruising, fishing, underwater recovery, or filming, Capt. Chuck has you covered. --- If you are fishing, fishing poles, bait, lunch, and license are all included. --- We have advanced technology to search underwater or on land via remote cameras and metal detectors to assist in finding lost valuables. With waterproof Drone technology, we can film your Boating or Jet Ski adventure while underway!

Professional Captain with 15 years experience and 40 years of boating experience. Holds a 100 Ton NOS, with Tow and Sail endorsements. Have owned over 10 boats since I started boating at 20. I have sailed from Key West to Bermuda 3 times, and have sailed charter sailboats all over Europe. I have owned two successful businesses in Delaware and now Maryland. I am a member of the Maritime Consortium ( random drug testing) and a member of the Chesapeake Bay Captains Association. Received my Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) certification, and a Navy Chief (ISC) with 21 years of active and reserve duty. Currently work part time as a Delivery Captain and Marine Trainer for Clark's Landing Boat Sales and Service in Shady side MD.

- 50% refund for cancellations between 3-5 days before the booking start time.
- Cancellations within 2 days of the booking start time are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.

If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
