Galatea is a Post Marine, and they are known for being "Yachts of Quality, Not Quantity Since 1957". Our Post 50 is lovingly named Galatea, after the Greek Sea Nymph. When combined with Galatea’s superior speed and cruising range you will experience a level of comfort and performance unmatched in its class.
Galatea’s flybridge is designed with both the captain and passengers in mind, having a low profile, centerline helm that provides superb visibility for spotting all the sights in 360 degrees..
Galatea’s Interior Space
Salon
The salon is a regal hangout, where you can lounge around in cushy luxury. Its L-shaped sofa and lounge seat provide ample seating room. Plus, the dinette is a gorgeous table of varnished teak wood. Rounded edges on the furniture are sea-friendly.
Galley
The recessed cooktop offers unparalleled convenience and practicality, with a removable cover allowing an uninterrupted flow of Corian when not in use. Additionally, the new full-size refrigerator/freezer comes equipped with a built-in ice cube maker.
Master Suite
The cabin is situated in the center of the vessel, providing less noise and greater comfort while cruising. The queen-size berth has 3 sides, stowage below, and a cedar-lined, illuminated wardrobe locker, a fully enclosed stall shower, oversized vanity, medicine cabinet with mirror, AC with reverse cycle heat, and an overhead hatch.
The Portside Guest Stateroom
Offers a comfortable sleeping environment with its over and under bunks, generous drawer storage, and large hatch.
The Starboard Side Guest Stateroom
Offers two comfortable full twin beds separated by a night table with pullout drawer. This room comes with a separate thermostat and dedicated AC/heat. In addition, the Guest Head located in this stateroom provides a fiberglass stall shower and seating and molded countertops.
