Lady Fish is a Shamrock 29 Walk Around (now sold as a Rampage 30). She is in great condition and perfect for fishing or a family outing on the Bay. It is suitable for use fishing on the ocean, or an overnight at Angel island.
Has full electronics including radar, auto pilot, chart plotters, fish finders and has AIS class B that tracks your movements and makes you visible to other vessels.
Has a marine head, shower, a refrigerator all down below in the cabin that can sleep 4.
For fisherman it includes downriggers, rod holders, fish box, and bait well. Details need to be worked out ahead of time for those needing to use downriggers.
A California boating license/card is required to rent. However if you can show evidence of other training or certification from other states that may suffice.
You will need to demonstrate offshore/ocean knowledge in order to take the boat past the Golden Gate.
If a captain is required then only 6 passengers are allowed.
If children will be on board they must have an appropriate sized life vest. This needs to be confirmed prior to arrival. I have a few child sized life vests, but not to cover every size or quantity.
Fuel charge is based on approximate $5/gallon which is the rate on the water stations. Charge is $125 per 1/8 tank with a minimum charge if $125. A typical 4 hour rental would consume a quarter tank, so $250, but may be as much as 3/8 or as low as 1/8. Boat holds 200 gallons total.
If the head is used you will need to leave time (maybe 10 mins) to pump it out at the marina on your return. There is a $40 charge for not doing this.
The boat is a twin engine inboard. If you only have experience with a small outboard boat, then this may not be for you.
