Burger yachts are among the most highly regarded in the world. She has the classic and distinctive lines of the flush-deck Burger design that are admired by vintage yacht aficionados around the world. She is 80 feet in length and has a remarkable amount of deck space for outdoor lounging, laying out, partying, cocktails, or even dining. The teak foredeck is 18’ x 16’. The elevated sundeck is 14’ x 14’, and while the marine architects cannot confirm this, some guests claim it was designed as a dance floor. The sundeck can be setup with a lounging pool to cool off, or with a jacuzzi to warm up and enjoy the powerful massage jets. These outdoor spaces can be set up for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, candlelight dining, sunbathing, lounging on the 10 person couch or bean bags. Just tell us what you have in mind and your experience will be customized. The cockpit in the stern provides access to the large swim platform and ladder where swimmers can enter and exit the water. The cockpit also gives you a close view of the water for observing dolphins riding our wake, or a nice place to enjoy a cigar and bourbon. The final outdoor entertaining area is the elevated flybridge, which is the upper deck of the vessel. The flybridge has a second helm station where the Captain will usually steer the yacht, and offers a birds-eye view to guests of the beautiful scenery and all the small boats plying the harbor that love a wave from the big ballers on the megayacht. A covered bimini provides shade for guests to enjoy the breeze and view from a large couch that will comfortably seat 8. The surround sounds system plays music in all these areas, which connects via bluetooth to your phone so you can rock out to your own personal playlist.
Unlike any other charter vessel in Charleston she also has a huge amount of air-conditioned interior for inside lounging, a full wet bar with icemaker, fridge, sink, a commercial grade blender for frozen drinks, and all the bar mixology accessories any respectable cocktails drinker would expect. If a squall comes through, as it often does in Charleston, no worries! You just bring the whole party inside! Inside the grand salon is a 20’ x 18’ space where you can enjoy 270-degree panoramic views of the water from the comfort of a climate-controlled lounge. If you would rather enjoy the breeze, the back windows and doors can all be opened to provide an airy indoor/outdoor covered space for casual cruising and cocktails.
We can accommodate special events such as a wedding or rehearsal dinner, engagement party, bachelor or bachelorette party, birthday, anniversary, poker or casino night (inquire for dockside event rates), corporate events and meetings, or just a special sunset cruise or dinner or among friends or family. Regardless of the occasion, she will give a special person or group an experience they will remember forever. Nothing feels quite like cruising around the harbor surveying the surroundings boats and scenery from the deck of your own private megayacht. We can customize your experience to suite your preferences. You can select from the variety of experiences we offer, including Fine Dining with a Private Chef, Custom Cruises, or Dockside Events. Cruises can be scheduled during the day, sunset, or evening, and are billed by the hour. Also inquire about our multi-day sleep aboard excursions where the megayacht can be your own personal mobile resort and hotel for the weekend or longer. These excursions are perfect for out-of-town groups like bachelorette, bachelor, birthday, parties. We can sleep up to 12 comfortably in 4 cabins with 4 bathrooms and showers, and a full kitchen. We can hang close to downtown Charleston for party groups interested in a Big Baller yacht weekend, with shuttles ashore to restaurants and bars in the evenings. Or, you can do a Lowcountry Explorer Experience that ventures to secluded locations like Kiawah or the Edisto for natural beauty, beach days, fishing, skeet shooting, and unbeatable sunrises and sunsets on the water.
Another really cool thing about chartering with MANTA is that this yacht was donated to and is owned by a local marine science organization (of the same name) that conducts semester at sea-style study abroad experiences. So, all proceeds go to support the non-profit. Many thanks for your support and spreading the word!
P.S. Crew gratuity of 18% will be collected outside of Boatsetter prior to departure.
