We offer hourly rates, as well as, multi day rates. To get a rate outside of the standard 1/2 day or full day rental, simply make an inquiry and indicate the dates, and/hours that you would like to rent a boat for, and we will provide a rate quote for you right away. We can also deliver the boat to most public docks on The St Johns River
The Aquasport is best suited for 2 people and there may be an additional charge for using it for more than 2 people. The boat can be used by a maximum of 4 people at a time. If you are not planning to be in Seville, FL or on Lake George, we can deliver the boat to you at almost any boat ramp on The St. Johns River between Palatka, FL and Sanford, FL, or to your private dock or vacation home, for an additional charge. Boating can be very fun and a great way to spend time with family, friends, or someone special. There is an abundance of aquatic life all over Lake George and The St Johns River. If you are wanting to explore one of several fresh water springs that feed the river, you can get to most of them by boat, or car. There are also many waterfront bars and restaurants that you can get to by boat. Boating is a great way to see the real Florida. You can meet a lot of friendly locals while boating up and down the river. Our location is right next door to the Pine Island Marina Boat Ramp, in Seville, FL. We are close to the middle of the lake on the East Side and if you are staying with us, you can dock your boat right outside your vacation home at Sunset and jump back in it at Sunrise! A 6 mile trip across Lake George will bring you to the Ocala Forest where you can visit crystal clear springs, such as, Silver Glen, Salt Springs and Juniper Creek, where you can anchor the boat and go for a swim. If you head north from Runaway Bay, you can get to The Private "Boat In" community of Drayton Island. After that you can head west to Salt Springs and take a mineral bath in the high sodium water. The Springs around Lake George produce a brackish water that mixed with the Atlantic Ocean water that comes in to the river in Jacksonville, FL, gives Lake George a unique blend of fresh water and brackish or salt water animals. You are likely to see alligators, manatees, heron, egret, cranes, eagles, bass, snook, bluegill, mullet, crappie, stingray, gar, etc. There have even been shark sightings in Lake George when the tide is low. The slow moving river is an attractive feeding ground certain times of the year. Lake George was also a military bombing range many years ago. They have sunken ships, pilings and a natural Forest bordered with aquatic vegetation on over 75% of the lakes perimeter. This has created a great place for fishing in certain seasons. The shrimping and crabbing in Lake George is plentiful and even supports most of the local restaurants with delicious Florida Blue Crabs. Fishing licenses can be obtained online for temporary visitors from out of state. Most crabbing is considered recreational, up to 5 traps. Shrimping you can bring out 1 5 gallon bucket per boat. Check for updates and current guidelines when you get your license. You do not need a license to drive a boat, but due to the nature of boat rental, you must meet the minimum requirements for renting a boat. Please see guidelines prior to making your reservation.
