SIA is our 2022 Excess 11, and she brings a fun, modern energy to the Chronic Sailing lineup here in Annapolis. With 3 cabins and 2 heads, she’s the perfect size for small groups who want plenty of space to relax, laugh, and celebrate out on the Chesapeake. Birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorettes, engagements, sunset cheers—SIA was made for moments like that.

Inside, she’s bright, open, and incredibly inviting. Big windows light up the saloon and cabins, so no matter where you’re hanging out, you’re still connected to the water and the vibe. The galley and seating area make it easy to prep snacks, grab drinks, and keep everyone in the mix—no one gets stuck inside missing the fun.

Step outside, and this is where SIA really shines. Her spacious cockpit is a natural gathering spot—plenty of room to lounge, eat, dance, or just kick back and soak up the views. She’s stable, comfortable, and smooth under sail, so even first-timers feel at ease while still getting that “wow, we’re really doing this” feeling.

Chronic Sailing Owner Captain Shawn holds a USCG 100Ton Near Coastal Master License with sailing and towing endorsement. Shawn has captained regularly on the Chesapeake Bay for the past 6 years, as well as captained and crewed dozens of deliveries to and from Florida, the Bahamas and all throughout the Caribbean. Shawn is an ASA Certified Instructor for 101-106 and 114. He is also a professional local musician so inquire about having him perform a few songs aboard your cruise!

This boat belongs to a Commercial Owner, an independent boat rental company. A Commercial Owner is an independent, Boatsetter-approved boat rental company who provides their own insurance to their guests.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
