I'm currently working as captain on an 81' Horizon out of Miami and hold a 200 ton USCG license. The position is ending some time in March. I live here in Ft. Lauderdale and am very familiar with a lot of the yards and various contractors around town. The Bahamas feel like my backyard, I've been traveling to and from for over ten years; in fact, I use to work and live on Harbour Island off North Eleuthera prior to my work on motor yachts. As well, I have done several trips to the Keys, including Ocean Reef, Marathon and Key West.
I have worked my way up from deckhand to Mate/engineer to Captain/Engineer in my career of 13 years working on private and charter yachts. I started working on 50+ meter yachts as deckhand and have captained 50-120 foot yachts.
