Review booking requests and inquiries from renters.
Handle all your bookings on the web or in our dedicated Owner app.
Payouts are processed quickly and go directly into your bank account.
Owner satisfaction is our number one priority! That means we are here to provide you with anything you might need for your rentals, including a top-notch support team, an easy to use platform, an owner's app, and comprehensive insurance and towing all built into each rental.
Under USCG rules, you are required to have a commercial charter policy covering your boat during rentals. Don't worry as this is automatically included with every booking made via boatsetter and provided by GEICO / BoatUS. Please note you must have a underlying personal recreational policy in order to be approved for our program. Your underlying recreational insurance is in effect during personal boat trips with friends and family and serves as a litmus test that your boat is insurable. The Boatsetter policy is in effect during the time of a rental made through Boatsetter.
You are not charged anything by Boatsetter to list your boat. Suntex Marina's require an annual fee equivalent to one months slip rent in order to participate in the Boatsetter partnership program. You will also sign off on a new moorage agreement so that suntex acknowledges your participation in the program. Speak to the marina manager to get a new moorage agreement and updated invoice.
Boatsetter has the largest network of USCG certified captains out there! Choosing to rent out your boat with a captain gives you peace of mind in knowing that an experienced professional will be in charge during the trip.
We verify all of our renters through a service called Cognito, designed to make sure payment information matches a renter's identity and prevent credit card fraud. For your safety and that of your boats, we also have an age policy in place determining that a renter must be at least 18 years old to rent out a captained charter, and at least 25 years old to rent out a bareboat charter.
We handle all payments associated with the rental. Prior to the trip, we collect the total value of the trip from the renter, in addition to holding a $500 security deposit on your behalf. Once the trip is completed, we pay you, the owner, within 2 business days of completion.
