Ahoy fellow mates! Im Josh, 30 years old, life-long avid boater in the state of Florida. I was born in Minnesota (Land of 10,000 Lakes) and moved to Marco Island (Land of 10,000 Islands). I grew up in Naples/Marco Island (Southwest), lived in Fort Lauderdale (East Coast), and now in St Petersburg (West Coast). I graduated in 2011 at Florida Gulf Coast University studying Business Management. In 2013, I started a Boat Rental/Boat Club company in SWFL and quickly grew to a large Marina with over 30+ rental boats. I enjoy any day on a boat relaxing, fishing, or cruising the bay/intercostal. Looking forward in getting to share the experience on the beautiful Florida waters as well!

We had a great experience renting with Josh. Very helpful getting us set up and had great recommendations on places to visit. The boat was also clean and well taken care of. This was my first booking on Boatsetter and I didn't really know what to expect with the process. Luckily, Josh is a professional! My questions were answered almost immediately, and the booking and scheduling was extremely simple. Were were right on time for our boat pickup and he already had everything ready to go for us. Overview of the boat was simple, he gave us a lot of great ideas on what to do for the day, and our boat was outfitted with GPS / depth finder which made navigating the waterways a breeze. We traveled up towards Treasure Island, spent a little time out on the gulf, shell key, ate at The Wharf, hung out at the beach in Fort De Soto, and finished the day with a drive by the Skyway. Drop off of the boat was simple and fast. No hassle, turnkey experience. I would 100% recommend renting with Josh.

Thank you Josh for a great experience using your Hurricane Boat FD 231 for our 15 year anniversary day with the kids and wife.
Josh was very responsive in his message and gave us suggestions on which boat to use based on what we wanted to do.
His customer service was what we looked for in making our decision to chose him.
Josh we extremely detailed in going over the functions of the boat and gave us tips on where to go. The map and GPS system helped out a lot in getting us to where we needed to go.
His boat was well kept and super clean. We had no issues with the boat.
He went above and beyond to help us unload our gears while it we raining when we returned our boat.
If you’re looking for a great boat to use and genuine type of guy, Josh is it.
Again thank you for making our day memorable. We’ll definitely come back to you next time we are around.

Cancellation policy
- Free cancellations until 24 hours before the booking start date.
- Cancellations within 24 hours of the booking start date are non-refundable.
Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
Captain info
If requested, the owner can provide a list of available captains for bareboat charter or the renter can use their own qualified captain. If the boat is being time chartered, the owner will provide the Captain.
