Departing from and returning to Daniel Island Marina is easier and less time consuming than launching from a boat ramp giving you more time to enjoy your day! Charleston Harbor is only a few minutes from the marina. You'll pass the Naval Ready Reserve ships as you enter the Cooper River. Dolphins are sighted on almost every boating trip. Once you reach Charleston Harbor the sights include the Ravenel Bridge, shipping docks and cranes, South Carolina Aquarium, Waterfront Park, Patriots Point, Charleston City Marina, Charleston Harbor Marina, Pinkney Castle, Fort Sumter, boats of every description and so much more! From the harbor you can enter Shem Creek and dock a Red's Ice House or head North or South on the Intercoastal Waterway!
Life-jackets, fire extinguisher and all other safety items required by the US Coast Guard included. A hand-held VHF radio, large First Aid kit and extra anchor are also on board.
Innertube, tow rope and nautical charts available upon request.

My wife and I live in the Charleston area and love being on the water. We enjoy taking family and friends on the boat for harbor cruises, dolphin watching, tubing, shell hunting at inlets, fishing and cruising the intercoastal waterway.
