The boat

The Reel Serenity offers fishing charters, cruises around the bay, plus transporting anywhere in Fire Island. Kismet is a convenient 15 minute ride from Bay Shore and a 15-25 min trip to Atlantique, Ocean Beach and Ocean Bay Park. Take advantage of the beautiful beaches and anchor inside the Fire Island inlet, go for a swim or just relax in the sun. We'll customize your charter to your needs for you and your party. If it’s a fishing charter you are looking to do, we supply all the equipment and bait needed. The boat is fully equipped and NYS DEC permitted. It has plenty of rod holders, coolers, navigation equipment, life vests and a safety raft. Reel Serenity was repowered with 2021 twin 175 Suzuki’s which will safely and efficiently take you to the fishing grounds. Reel Serenity is captained and maintained by its owner, Captain Carl.

I spent 94-97 onboard the USS NASSAU LHA-4 as a Quartermaster plotting charts. We made 6 trips across the Atlantic into the Mediterranean Sea. I've owned private boats from 16-36ft. I'm a avid fisherman fishing off Long Island ,NY and operate a 6 pack charter boat (REEL SERENITY FISHING CHARTERS). I also work full time as a Captain of a 140' Fireboat in NY Harbor. A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
