The boat

This is one of the easiest boats you will find to sail. Not only is there is very little work to get the sails up and get going, but actually sailing is easy to with one sail and barely one line to trim! A fast moving boat too!

Naiad is a 30 foot length and 13 foot beam boat. She has a lot of room below deck for her size. And she has both a working gallery and toilet.

She is chartered with a Captain for 1/2 and full day charters.

Pick up can be scheduled at several different docks in the area as there are parking issues in Darien. Please ask for options. Thank you!

Have been a sailor all my life- enjoy powerboats also, but I am mainly a sailor! Previously worked with my Mother, who was also a licensed captain, her business, Naiad Yacht Charters, was a lot of fun and I was the first mate. Now I am starting my own business, Sail Naiad, and I am looking forward to being on the water and meeting great people! I love being on the water and also seeing the joy on people’s faces when they get to experience it’s rewards also.

A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
