Welcome aboard "Marco," our fully loaded 2021 Robalo R227 Dual Console. The ultimate way to spend a day on the water in Sarasota, Florida. Built for versatility, dialed in for the Sarasota day that can be anything: family cruise to the sandbar in the morning, fishing run in the afternoon, snorkel stop at lunch, sunset cocktail to close.
Whether you are a family planning a multi-use day, an active couple, a friend group, or a first-timer with someone experienced at the helm, Marco is built to handle whatever the day turns into.
We are Boss Life Rentals, a small family operation in Sarasota. Marco is loaded for the Sarasota day on the water.
A dual-console layout with a walk-through windshield and wraparound seating that protects passengers at speed. A bow that converts in seconds from family seating to a casting platform. A 250 hp Yamaha four-stroke on a 21-degree deep-V hull cuts chop and runs smooth, and Lenco trim tabs let you dial in the ride. 101 gallons of fuel give you the range to plan a longer route.
A Garmin GPSMAP 943xsv chartplotter handles navigation and sonar on one screen. Bluetooth stereo, dual high-capacity batteries, underwater LED lights for dusk and dawn, freshwater shower for swim breaks, and ample dry storage. Two anchors (bow and stern) keep the boat steady at the sandbar.
Dual swim platforms with a telescoping boarding ladder make it easy for the whole group to get in and out, and a ski/tow pole on the stern is rigged for watersports.
For fishing days, the boat is ready: 20-gallon livewell, raw-water washdown, gunwale and transom rod holders, self-bailing cockpit, and an in-floor ski locker with lockable rod storage.
Stainless steel hardware throughout. The Bimini deploys for full shade or folds away for full sun.
Whether you are a seasoned captain or a first-timer, Marco is easy to handle, smooth and stable on the bay, and built around comfort for the whole group. We meet you at the dock 15 minutes before your start time and walk you through every system: controls, safety gear, and the operating area. After that, the day is yours. Gather your crew, pack a picnic, and settle in.
Marco is built for anything a Sarasota day calls for. Drop anchor at the spot that suits the day. Swim off the platform. Cast a line if fishing is on the agenda. Snorkel in the shallows. Watch for the dolphins. Get your camera ready. Or do nothing at all. That last one is a real option, and a good one. Either way, you get the day on the water you came to Florida for.

***PICKUP AND DROP-OFF***
Pickup and drop-off at Centennial Park (our home base in Sarasota) is included. Englewood, Venice, and Nokomis available for an additional fee. Message us before booking to confirm your preferred ramp and the quote.
***EXTRAS***
Waterproof phone cases available at $10 each. Mention it when you book and we will have them ready.
***FUEL***
Marco comes to you with a full tank. We refuel after the rental and pass the pump receipt through to you with no markup. We will send you the receipt for your records.
***RENTAL REQUIREMENTS***
• Must be 21 or older to rent, with 2+ years of recent boating experience. Valid government-issued photo ID and a matching credit card required.
• Born after 1/1/1988? Florida law requires a valid Boater Safety Education ID Card. Not sure where to get it? Just ask. We are happy to point you to the right place.
• Bring your ID, your boater safety card if required, and your crew.
• All towable equipment used on the boat must be provided by Boss Life Rentals. This includes tubes, water-skis, wakeboards, kneeboards, tow ropes, and any other pullable gear. Renter-supplied towables of any kind are not permitted aboard. This protects safety and our insurance coverage.
• Marco's USCG capacity plate is 10 persons / 1,445 lbs total, people and gear combined. Worth a heads up as you plan the cooler and any extras so the boat sits where it should.

Someone from Boss Life meets you at the dock 15 minutes before your start time and walks you through every system: controls, safety gear, and the operating area. Then the day is yours.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
