Eric & Bettina are the best hosts I’ve encountered in a very long time. Eric spent ample time explaining everything and the boat was awesome and easy to use. By far one of the best boat renting experiences I’ve had. I’m looking forward to renting again!

Eric was right on time and immediately responsive to our requests. His boat was impeccable and he was very demonstrative with it's use and handling which came in very handy even though we've handled many different boats in the past.

I tried to rent several boats for weeks for my wife's birthday and everyone was denying us saying they had to fix something of it.
Eric approved us right away. And passion because we both love the ocean and boating, it was a match.
We chatted about the trip through the chat here and Eric didn't miss any details.
We waited for a couple of weeks and there you go. We show up at the appointment nicely scheduled together and Eric was ready to hand us over their amazing boat together with a huge load of passion and good luck! We had a blast out in the bay, we visited Chase Center, Oracle Park (from the water:), Alcatraz, Sausalito, Angel Island, Tiburon and left before 12.30 pm coz that's when the wind usually starts picking up (according also to Windy.com). We made it back home safe and sound. I definitely recommend Eric and Bettina. If you are experienced you most likely can take the boat over Treasure Island, if you are not recommended to stay below the bay bridge. If you are a wakeboarder... oh man, I wish I had something to surf on (you will have the time of your life). Next time :)

Seamless coordination with Captain Eric and his lovely wife, Bettina. It was a beautiful Sunday morning, the water was glass. The sun a perfect 68. Captain Eric was super chill, but also thorough. Within 15 mins, he waved good bye. She appears tiny and almost gives you a little anxiety when you come out into the open ocean. But she has horses, holds her own on the Bay and you get moments where she keeps up with some of the yachts. We love nautical people…friendly and everyone waves. It’s really the best way to see the Bay, go under the bridges and circle Alcatraz. The speakers are amazing! We plugged in our iPhone and enjoyed our music as we breezed pass playing sea otters. We had 3/4 of a tank and came back w/ plenty after playing for 5 hours! It was a perfect day in the Bay on a perfect powerboat for us. We docked quite easily and again nautical people helped tie up the boat. I looked back at her and I’m reminded how small she is, but how powerful she can be. Thank you Eric & Bettina for a wonderful day. It’s what we needed and most definitely be back.

Eric was amazing to work with and helped my family have a unforgettable experience on the bay. We’re so grateful for him working with us through the whole process. The boat was perfect for any water activities.

Eric & Bettinas Yamaha AR190 is in tip top shape, Eric gave us a quick run down of the boat and had us on our way within 20 minutes. She's small but mighty and despite some chop, handled the waters well that day - we had a delightful tour of the San Diego Bay. With Erics wealth of experience and gracious hosting this is an easy five star review.

Eric and Bettina are the most gracious hosts - very thoughtful in coordinating the trip and patient in explaining the operation of the boat. The transition was seamless and we were off on our own in 20 minutes. Their boat is pure joy. First of all, it's immaculate, no wear and tear at all. Second, it's a jet propulsion and this makes the boat especially responsive. Docking is a breeze. There are no external propellers that could hurt swimmers. The engine generates consistent torque throughout the speed range and cruises easily at 25mph/6,500rpm. They have a nice electronics package and this makes navigation easy. Our son wanted to give them 30 million stars, but you can only go as high as five, so five it is. Thanks Eric and Bettina for an unforgettable adventure.

We had an amazing time on Eric and Bettina's boat. Everything we asked for was in great condition and offered for a great price. The boat was big enough for 8 people to still have plenty of space and lots of fun. The boat itself had no problems or rips or scratches anywhere. Eric welcomed us and gave us a very good tutorial of how the boat operates and even offered to let us use the tube, wakeboard, and kneeboard he has which made the experience so much fun. Overall, this was definitely a good idea and we will definitely be renting from them in the future.

Wow, what a great time. Met the host Eric, at the dock just as planned. Boat was beautiful and freshly washed. Eric showed us all the feature of the boat, including an excellent navigation systems. After orienting us on then operation of the Yamaha AR190, we where off to a great day on the water. The performance of the AR190 is very impressive and we had a blast.
