Had a great day! Boat is easy to sail, views are awesome, and Brian is easygoing and very flexible. We sailed the whole day and enjoyed it tremendously. Can recommend this to anyone.

Brian was easy to deal with. Explained what was needed to know. Boat was pretty tired, and not at all near what the pictures showed. My crew was disappointed. All in all she handled the journey well. Boat needs a lot of tlc, as with most rentals.

We had a perfect sail on the Bay with Brian's boat. The wind and tide worked for us the whole afternoon, for which I give Brian full credit. The boat had clearly been outfitted for ocean passage; everything felt solid and reliable. Brian was very easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Brian was super helpful and very flexible. He's clearly a dedicated boat owner and takes excellent care of the boat. The Pearson 32 is in very good shape, sails well, and is well equipped for sailing on the Bay. Great overall experience.

Brian's Pearson can easily handle San Francisco Bay making it a very comfortable sailing experience. Brian has been the best owner I've rented from. He even sent my hat & jacket (left behind in error) back to me. Next Bay sail will most definitely be on Brian's Pearson.

Brian was very helpful, and the boat is in great condition. The sun shade is really nice as a wind blocker and a sun blocker. We had a great time!

I took my family sailing on San Francisco Bay last Sunday. The Pearson 32 was the perfect size boat for 5 adults with plenty space. The boat is set up to be easy to rig and sail and she handled very well, even when the wind got quite squally near the Golden Gate.
Brian is very friendly, helpful, and reasonable and I would happily rent from him again.

What a great day on the Bay! Brian had the boat ready to go and after a quick walkthrough, the six of us were comfortably on our way. The boat sailed great and was in good condition, particularly the sails and lines.

Brian was very flexible and helpful. Boat is a pleasure to sail. Spread hood is huge and kept the elements away although made not easy to see ahead at times. One more fender would be a wise move.

Great day charter! Brian is easy to work with, checkout covered what we needed to know and we got on the water quickly. The Pearson 32 is a great SF Bay boat... can keep moving in lighter winds, handles heavier wind well, even goes to weather decently with headsail alone (a nice touch if you have non sailors who are a little overwhelmed by winds out toward the Gate). A few things to note: boat has good selection of both adult and children's PFD's, all the USCG required safety equipment is right at hand, and there is both a throwable horseshoe and a LifeSling as additional safety gear, reefing system (done at the mast) is quick and easy. Would definitely rent this boat again.

Blue Haven is a really great boat! It handled so well on the bay, and it's easy to sail. He's got it rigged up as basically a one man sailing vessel with all lines accessible from the helm. (though it's still very nice to have some helping hands on the SF bay.) Brian takes good care of her, she was clean, and full of gas for our trip. His marina is in the perfect location for a day sail, and Brian was very helpful in guiding us towards the lay of the bay, locations to avoid and places to explore. When I'm looking to sail in the Bay Area again, I will definitely be reaching out Brian.

We had an amazing day sailing on Blue Haven! We sailed under the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge, and around Angel Island, in glorious winds! The boat was in good shape and had everything we needed, and Brian was super friendly and easy to work with. He got me quickly up to speed on everything I needed to know about the boat and the waters nearby. I can't wait to sail on Blue Haven again soon!

I took out this Pearson on Saturday Nov 21st. There was no fog and moderate winds on the bay. We had a great time sailing around Treasure Island, out under the Golden Gate Bridge and back along San Francisco pier front. Everyone had a great time and there were lots of boats out enjoying the day. This time of year is a great time to enjoy the bay.

Great solid yacht. We have been sailing with the wind 6 th Bofort scale. Well equiped with everything. Brian is a great host :)

Brian's Pearson 32 is a good boat for a day sail on the San Francisco Bay with a nice dodger. Be aware that you need to have someone go to the mast to raise or lower the mainsail or to reef and reef early.

We had a great day of sailing on Blue Haven. Nice, solid boat, well rigged and in very good condition. Brian is easy to work with and was helpful with the checkout. We will be back!

I rented Brian's boat with some friends for a Sunday afternoon sail. There were 7 of us total and it was a very comfortable size for us. It was very clean, fun, and easy to manage. Would definitely rent again.

Had great weather for January and boat handle well, Brian made everything easy from check in and check out to getting on our way. Will rent again.

Brian was very prompt, through and easy to get along with. I had never sailed SF Bay and the experience was fantastic. The boat sailed well in the wind and everything was as expected.

We had an awesome day sailing Brian's boat. We had myself and 5 passengers on board. It was comfortable. The crew had the time of their lives. Brian is attentive and easy to deal with. The boat is well maintained and easy to sail. I would definitely recommend Blue Haven.

Had a great day out! Brian is very responsive and amicable, laid back kind of person. The boat is in great condition; not a speed machine but very seaworthy. All rigging worked great, maybe hoisting the main required a little extra attention with the luff cars needing some guidance and wanting to jump off the track (also duly noted by Brian) but remained firm once fully hoisted and no issues when bringing the sail down.
Some of the gimmicks like GPS, grill or autopilot were not working, but didn't need them this time and Brian clearly pointed it out at check in. We had a pleasant sail with no surprises; a great experience over all!!

Blue Haven treated us well for another fun day on the water. Brian was easy to coordinate with and made the logistics a breeze.

Brian has a nice boat in Berkeley marina. He is very responsive and accommodating and happy to help if having any difficulty.
