Hi - We rented Nicholas's boat for the whole 2021 (COVID) Springbreak week and took it from Cape Coral up to Boca Grande via the Inner Coastal waterway. We had rented a house with a private boat dock in Boca for the week. The trip was about 2.5 hours each way and we used the boat to fish and pleasure cruise the waters around Boca Grande. The boat was fantastic and in beautiful shape. We used it every day and took trips out to the Cape Haze Estuary - Cayo Costa Island - Useppa Island and Pine Island areas. My 16-year-old fishing addict of a son had a blast. We were on the water for 4 to 5 hours each day. We only needed to fillup with fuel once at the end of the week and spent about $200 total on fuel - amazing - if you consider how much we used the boat each day. Having the boat added so much to our Springbreak vacation. It allowed us to be able to go out on the water and boat each day (vs just sit on the beach every day like we usually do). I will definitely do this again.

If you plan to use the boat in the waters around Boca Grande, just be aware of how shallow everything is in Gasparilla Sound. Most of the water in the Sound is only 4 to 6 ft deep. But a lot is only 1 to 2 feet deep. It took us a few days to really get the program of where we could and could not go before we felt confident. Next year we will be a superstar. But as a first-timer - it was definitely a learning process on where we could fish, without getting stuck on sand bars are - etc. But a great adventure for sure and the weather was perfect except for one "very windy" day. So, we lucked out there too.

Finally - I am NOT an experienced boat Capitan. I have driven some boats in the past but never owned one. This boat was a perfect size for easy operation while also being large enough to make me feel safe. We took some small groups out for sunset cruised and I was able to pull it into our boat lift (at our dock) with no problems. A bigger boat would have been an issue for me - so - this was perfect and its 15-inch draft allowed us to get into some shallow stuff to fish for Snook - Red Fish - Jacks - etc.

I would highly recommend this boat if fishing and pleasure cruising is your goal and you are not an experienced large boat owner - captain. It is a perfect fit - not too big - not too small - fast - in great shape - and big enough for 6 or 8 people.

Great experience! The boat is new and spectacular! Great for a serious angler looking to go off shore or a family, like ours, looking to enjoy a great day cruising and swimming. Nick was on time, very friendly and showed us everything on the boat we needed to know. Great service, hospitable and very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend!
