Older boat, pictures are a bit dated and not up to date. Ran great w no issues. Guy who gave boat instructions before launch was angry about last renters - saying they destroyed the prop and left black marks when docked. Felt like a 20 minute lecture/rant to start our day.

The boat had a little “kill switch” issue but not a show stopper. The sound system was AWESOME and Bluetooth connection made it a perfect plus for a great day for our family of 6 on the water. We had a great trip! Launch and pull-out was on-time, professional, and friendly. Boat was clean. Tube, ropes, and life jackets were clean and fun.

Frank was right on time and ready to share information about his boat. Easy launch and we were off for a great day on the lake. The boat ran great all day and easily handled tubing and wakeboarding for our group of 8. My daughter's 16th birthday excursion on Lake Travis was a huge success and Frank was a big part of that.

We had a great time in the water, the process was easy. The boat was clean and worked great. If you want a reasonably priced boat that looks good, drives well and an overall easy process then this is your guy.

This was my first rental with Boatsetter. The boat was in great condition as in the pictures and I really appreciate the extra skis and tubes. However, I wasn’t aware of the extra gas charge which I thought was already included with the booking and also, being charged an extra 25 dollars for being 15 minutes late. I didn’t think that charge was fair because we didn’t get into the water until 20 minutes after booking time and we all showed up early. Joe was nice and very detailed.

- Easy and quick parking

- Boat is in great shape and ran smoothly.
- Labor Day weekend and boat ramp was packed, so took about 30 mins off our allotted time , but not Frank’s fault but would have been nice to be able bring it back 30mins later to compensate.
-Tube on boat with rope and skis.
-Bluetooth stereo worked great and sounded awesome.
-I rent boats frequently and Frank’s gets an A+

The boat was exactly as described. There was great communication and direction for the entire trip. It was easy and very convenient. The fuel reimbursement after the trip was easy supplying proof of the fill up and using venmo to pay. I would definitely use Frank's boat service again if we visited Austin, TX.

The trip was good. Just wish we could have went to one of the lakes but with a dam of either side of the river we were in made it to congested to really have fun.

Everything went as promised.The boat was as described and was ready and waiting.
However, the guy who drops off the boat and picks it up is a sarcastic kinda ass. He refused to use the winch on the boat to load it (literally 6 more inches) when I was only trying to be safe with his boat. While giving instructions he ended it with "waiting on you". Lol
Everything went great with the boat, but I would probably seek business elsewhere next time.

There were some communication issues, but it was a good boat, and we had a good time.

Boat was great, excellent for wakeboarding, makes a nice clean wake. Good power to pull you out of the water. The only complaints is the speedometer wasn't working which makes it a bit harder to get the speed dialed, and the rope handle didn't have any of the grip cushion on it so you hold to bare metal which can be a bit rough on your hands as the handle is thin. Once you get a hang of it you can guide yourself by rpm. If he would fix the speedometer and rope handle then it would be 5 stars! That said, the price is very competitive for the type of boat. Renting a proper wakeboarding boat is difficult at lake Travis especially if you want to captain yourself. Frank did provide excellent service, the launch was convenient but plan to come at least 20 minutes early as it does take some time to load and put the boat in the water.

We had a great time on the boat! The rental process was super easy, Mike from Franks Boats was great. He was early and gave us instructions ahead of time and was responsive and friendly. We’d rent from them again and would definitely recommend them!

Such a seamless experience! Corresponded with Frank via text once we finalized the booking. Day of, we met him at the dock, he gave a brief tutorial, and then we were off. He even included a tub upon request so we could go tubing. You can tell Frank is a seasoned expert!

We had a nice half-day boating trip on the lake. Frank was helpful and accommodating in scheduling the trip, including rescheduling for a different day because of the weather conditions. The boat was in very good condition, no issues at all.

The boat was well maintained and had no mechanical issues whatsoever. Was super easy loading people and gear into the boat then being trailered down the ramp into the lake and off we went for 4 hrs. Could not have been done any better. Highly recommended!

The boat's condition was not great. We could barely open the glove compartment where the radio was located and the life jackets were very worn. Most concerning was the engine took multiple tries to start throughout our trip. I also received two different meeting locations to start the trip and went to the wrong one, costing us 30-45 minutes of our trip. The silver lining was that my crew had a fun time on the water and Mike, who delivered and picked up the boat was very friendly & accommodating.

Rented from Frank for my birthday weekend and it was amazing. Spent 4 hours with friends, 8 of us total. And we had an amazing time. The tube that comes with the rental is so much fun! Totally recommend!

We had a very fun day on Frank's Cobalt. Communication was good, he was ready when we arrived, and the boat was in good shape. If you don't know how to use the trim to manage speed (along with throttle) Frank can explain it. Inflating the tube baffled me for a few minutes. Note that there are 3 nozzles, 1 for the main tube and 2 for little leg bolsters. We would definitely rent from Frank again.

The boat was perfect for our family. Frank and Mike made the entire process very easy.

The boat was in fair condition with cracked faded seats, a broken and glued glove compartment, and an engine that stalled when idling in neutral. Once the engine was running in drive it was fine.
The service provided was friendly and orientation of the boat was easy to understand. We got in and out of the water without issues. The lake was great, but go in with low expectations on this particular boat.
