After days of comparing all boat options in Austin (literally), James & Amanda’s boat was even better than expected.

PROS:
—In comparison to others: min 2 hr option, dogs allowed, no captain option
—BOAT: Very nice, appears new, sun cover that spanned boat, provided cooler w/ waters & ice
—PARKING: Easy meet up/docking spot with plenty of parking
—DIRECTIONS: Direct and easy instructions for boat drivers
—Great communication

Great boat. Great location for pickup on best part of Lake Austin. James and Amanda were great hosts.

Beware of renting from this owner. The boat was poorly maintained. The speakers didn’t work, and the boat battery died within an hour, leaving us stranded on the lake. The owner told us to find another boat to tow us instead of coming to help. It took over an hour and a half before anyone showed up, only to admit the battery had failed for previous renters too. We lost half our rental time and were treated unprofessionally. Unsafe, unreliable, and unacceptable. Please save yourself the trouble.

JUST SUPER EXCELLENT! Every year my family of 3 generations take a "lake vacation" which leaves us at the mercy of others. With James and his gracious wife, we couldn't have been treated better. They by far exceeded all expectations! What a great and well maintained boat along with many amenities. We feel we have made a great friendship....salt of the earth people!! If you want to ensure a great time, book with James!
