Warning for anyone considering renting a boat without a captain: PROCEED WITH CAUTION. After my rental, the owner made a claim for engine damages but I do not believe I was the cause of any damages. Money tied up for weeks without resolution and I have no way to prove I was not responsible. I will only rent Captained boats from now on.
