Scott was a pleasure to work with. He was flexible with our requests and we had a wonderful day in the sun! The boat operated smoothly and drives surprisingly fast.

We had a great time with Seth, our favorite day in Charleston! Saw some historic sites, the intercostals, up into a beautiful inlet marsh and saw lots of wildlife, even a pirate ship that is being restored, a beautiful beach by Fort Sumter where we swam and found seashells! We even saw J.K. Rowling yacht! We had great conversations with Seth plus so much more! . Last but not least we saw lots of dolphins playing around in the water! Thanks Meredith and Seth for an amazing day! Highly recommend!

Seth's boat was the perfect size for spending the afternoon with family on the water. Seth explained the operation of the boat and offered ideas for sites to see. They were also quick to communicate with me after booking and on the day of the rental. I thought the price was fair and I highly recommend them!

This is the best cruising/beaching boat on Boatsetter in the Charleston area, in my opinion. I’ve rented several other boats around here and enjoyed them all, but this is my favorite by far. My wife and kids love it too. It’s got the bow and stern anchors that you need for beaching, and lots of water toys on board for fun at the sandbar once you get there. Seth is such a good guy and will get you comfortable with his and Meredith’s boat before you take it out. Try it—you won’t regret it!

This is our 3rd time renting from Meredith and Seth and they have made it truly easy every time! The boat always arrives spotless, plenty of toys for kids and even a cooler stocked with waters. This definitely won’t be our last!

EXCELLENT boating experience! Seth met us at the boat right on time and walked us through how to use the boat and options on where we could go to on the water. He was punctual at the end of the ride and took care of the boat once we parked it, super easy and will definitely use their boat again if we get the chance. 10/10.

The captain was great ! He gave us some information about the area and taught us a little bit of history of the city. He was very flexible and took us on a boat ride to see the area and then brought us to a swimming area. Floaties, cooler, and ice were on the boat already. Thanks for a great time! We loved it!

If you haven’t captained a boat before or it’s been awhile, do a captained trip with Seth on this boat! From navigating boat wakes, to trimming the boat properly to keep spray off of the passengers, to anchoring at the beach/sandbar, to docking the boat, he went over everything with me hands-on. I was controlling the boat 98% of the time, with him teaching beside me. I got a good overview of where to travel and not to in the Charleston harbor. It was tremendously valuable and fun experience.

Meredith and Seth's boat is in phenomenal condition. The GPS was very helpful in navigating the tricky Charleston waters and channels. We had 2 young children on the boat, and the boat managed the chop very well making for a smooth ride. The check in/check out process was seamless and convenient right on the dock. My family had an great afternoon out on the water, up and down the Ashley River and around the Charleston Harbor. Seth was very welcoming and helpful showing me the features of the boat, and was also helpful during the trip and sent us weather updates when a storm rolled through. We really enjoyed our boating experience! Meredith and Seth communicated well and were very personable. The boat was clean and trouble free. Plus, they even had a cooler stocked with cold bottle waters for us. Getting to see Charleston from the water is a whole different view of this beautiful area we recommend doing at least once. The kids had a blast getting to see all the boats, looking for sharks teeth on an island, and even spotting several dolphins while we were out.

Our time on the water was exhilarating! The boat was clean and well maintained with plenty of room for my group to move around depending on the vantage point we wanted. We were comfortable on board and just loved the moments when we sped through the harbor.

Seth met us at the dock and was awesome about explaining the boat and the waterways. Seeing the area by boat is a great way to experience a different side of the Charleston. We explored the waters behind Sullivans island and got off to swim to a sandbar. It was full of fish, crabs, snails and birds. An awesome way to see the marsh ecosystem! The boat was very nice and clean. Would highly recommend renting from Seth and would do again myself when we make it back.

Captain Seth was a fantastic captain, he was welcoming, knew all the spots to take us and what to fit in in 3 hours, and made for some great conversations and history/information about Charleston. Also he plays great music (but you can aux yourself if you’d like).
