“Captain K-Dog, otherwise known as Karsten Johnson, is a licensed boat captain, owner and your friendly tour guide on the 42′ trawler “Meridian”. After working for much of his life in the family yacht building business, K-Dog is now enjoying a more relaxed pace of life and running boat charter tours out of Clearwater, Florida. The “Meridian” is a very special craft – a “one-off” custom design by renowned naval architect Charles Wittholz. Features like the full upper deck allow for breathtaking views and she has a full working head and galley for your comfort. Captain K-Dog specializes in private boat tours for groups of eight or less visiting the Clearwater Beach / Tampa Bay area. St. Petersburg beach was recently voted one of the top 5 beaches in the world, and if you are anywhere in the area from St. Pete Beach, to Madeira Beach, to Redington Shores, Indian Rocks Beach or Belleair to Clearwater Beach. Your Captain has over 35 years of experience boating in this area, so his knowledge of the area means that you will have a great time whether you are interested in a snorkeling cruise, fishing, looking for shells on some of the various islands, or just a relaxing sunset cruise with your family or friends!”
