“I have a Coast Guard issued 50 ton masters license and six pac offshore license with sailing and towing endorsements. I have been sailing seriously since high school and was a sailing instructor after high school on the great lakes and then worked as a sail master and performed yacht delivery between Ft Lauderdale and the USVI in the early 1980's. I then went on to college and I am currently employed as a California registered Civil engineer and am the Public Works Director/ City Engineer for Arcata, CA. I am currently the Commodore of the Humboldt Yacht Club and an active club racer. We've owned several sailboats over the past 25 years and currently we have our 1982 Catalina 38 Obsession that we operate as a chartered B and B see humboldtsail.com and I also have my beloved Tartan 26 muse that I enjoy for club racing. I am an avid fisherman and scuba/skin diver also. ”
