“I have been on and off boats all of my life. My early years were spent at the Tinsley Island sailing camp for the St. Francis Yacht Club. My family also had a 28' sailboat on The San Francisco Bay. Something about that left an impression and regardless of what I have done professionally, sailing has always remained - from casual day sailing to being on a sailing team for 5 years. Most of my experience has been spent on sailboats of varying size, though I can enjoy a motor yacht from time to time. I have sailed in many places of the world, and have lived on a sailboat for the last 3 years as I prepare to sail to Central and South America for 18 to 36 months. I’m also a licensed USCG Master Captain. Feel free to ask me anything else you might want to know. Aside from sailing, I have a technology startup based in Oakland, CA.
