“I am a Coast Guard licensed captain, and for over 25 years I've had the privilege of taking passengers out to see the magnificent whales and huge pods of dolphins that live year-round off the coast of Southern California. I'm a certified Responsible Whale Watching partner with the World Cetacean Alliance. When I’m not on the water showing passengers amazing sea life, I’m actively involved with whale disentanglement. I founded and organized Orange County's first whale rescue group. I'm also an award-winning filmmaker and author who has been featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Today Show, CBS This Morning, Good Morning America, Discovery Channel, and National Geographic, and have had my film footage in theatrical films including in the Academy Award nominated film, Racing Extinction.”
