We had a wonderful experience on the water of Clear Lake over Labor weekend. Chris was helpful at check out and in and a clear communicator. The boat runs well, is comfortable, and set up well for tubing and skiing.

Our experience renting the boat from Chris was perfect and flawless. We had such a great time cruising around the lake, checking out the birds, and stopping several times for a cool dip in the lake. The real bonus was that Chris delivered the boat directly to our dock and dropped us off there at the end of the day. Very convenient and Chris is a super nice guy. I highly recommend using Chris for you Clearlake boating experience!

What a great day! We decided to get out of the SF summer gloom at the last minute and Chris made it super easy. We drove up from SF in the am (~2hrs) and got there by 11. It's true what they say... when it's cloudy and gloomy in SF, it's beautiful everywhere else.

When we arrived, Chris had the boat fully gassed up and ready for us. The boat was in great shape, very clean, and an ideal boat to pull someone behind. They helped us inflate our tube, offered us a cooler, and gave us a quick run down of where to go and what to see. We definitely recommend heading to the south end of the lake for the view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

The lake is one of the only lakes in CA where people own the shoreline, so there are boats, boathouses, and restaurants/bars right on the water. Four private islands have huge houses on them, and with state parks surrounding the lake, were blow away at what we'd found so close to SF. With a volcano in the middle, the scenery was something you felt like you'd see somewhere in South America. And, unlike most lakes in CA right now, was full.

After boating, we filled up the tank then had dinner at the Reel Inn. Food was great, and the view of the sunset on the lake was even better. We definitely wished we'd found a place to stay the night and do it again the next day.

We're already planning out next trip up to see Chris. This time we'll stay at one of the many places he owns on the water and make a weekend out of it!

Being from California and boating all over the state, it's crazy that I've never boated on Clearlake. Not only is it a beautiful drive from SF to the lake, but it's one of the few lakes

What a fantastic experience. Chris actually delivered the boat across the water to the dock of the place we were staying. He showed up right on time and his Four Winns was just as advertised - great condition! We rented it for a week and it ran flawlessly for us and had lots of power. It pulled a 210 lb. single skier right up in seconds. :) We knee boarded, we tubed, we toured, we had an absolute blast. Chris was waiting for me right at the agreed pickup time and the had back was a breeze. Chris is a super nice guy and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Chris and his boat and will certainly be renting from him again.

It was super easy to get in touch and coordinate with Christopher. He was very flexible with the check-out time. The boat was exactly what we expected and in perfect condition. We asked Christopher for recommendations on Clear Lake and he pointed us to the marsh lands, which was really great for that day. We'll be back for another day on this boat and bring some friends.

Chris’s boat broke the day before we had it scheduled for a 4 day rental. He went and found a nearly identical boat for us overnight and got us up and running. The other boat didn’t work out (engine wouldn’t start or idle) so we returned it early, but he could have just said sorry and moved on. Instead he helped find an alternative. When it didn’t work out he gave us a significant discount on the other rental and a promise of a free half-day when we are back. I would rent from him again as he proved to be a trustworthy, helpful and honest person when handling a complicated and unforeseen situation.

Chris and his boat are fantastic! He's lived in the area for over 20 years, is a local expert and gracious host with tips on what to do during your visit. We were supposed to rent his other boat but it was with the mechanic so we rented the SeaSwirl. He brought the boat right to our dock on time and we dropped him off before heading out. Six of us had a great day of water skiing, tubing, swimming and picnicking on the lake. Chris will fill up the tank afterward at a gas station on land which saves some $. Recommend to bring a waterproof bluetooth speaker. Would love to rent from Chris again for my next trip to Clear Lake.

Chris is so kind and very knowledgeable about the entire area and lake. He goes above and beyond to make sure you and your family have a great time. He even brought the boat over to our dock with all the supplies you need tube, skies, all life vest and cooler. His boat very clean and fast it worked perfectly. Please look know further rent from Chris you will be extremely happy.

Chris was an amazing host. We really enjoyed our Saturday on Clear Lake and he was there to help us from getting the boat in and out of the water and navigating around the lake. I would definitely return to Clear Lake and rent Chris' boat again! It worked out great for waterskiing, wakeboarding, and lounging on the water

Chris was fantastic and so was his boat! We had anticipated renting his boat and docking it where we were renting a house, but the dock ultimately wasn't stable and safe enough to dock the boat overnight. Each night, we were bale to pick Chris up and he dropped us back off at the dock. Each morning, Chris came to pick us up and let us use his boat for the day. Several men in our party wanted to fish early in the morning and he showed up at 5:30am (on the dot!) to let them fish. We used the water skis, fished off his boat, and cruised around Clear Lake. We really had a great time on his boat and felt very safe.

We have been renting Chris's boat for multiple days a week now during the month of August and it has been phenomenal. Chris is a really fantastic guy, you can really count on him and renting from him will make your boat trip just that much more enjoyable. Boat works fantastic, we have never had an issue with it and we have taken it out a lot, so we have tested it out plenty of times. If you are looking to rent a boat in Clearlake, look no further, Chris and his Seaswirl Boat are the way to go.

Christopher was an incredible boat host. Got exactly what I wanted plus some. Let me and my son finish our day of fishing without counting the clock. Seemed more interested in us enjoying our experience than financially benefiting from us. This was my first time on Boatsetter and I could not of asked for a better experience. Thank you Chris!

Amazing boating experience!!! Chris was simply wonderful from beginning to end and very knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding areas. Boat was super clean and well maintained, ran like a dream. We explored the lake, tubed and swam to our hearts content for all 8 hours of our rental. First time boating with our 11 yr old son and it was his best summer adventure yet. We had a great experience renting a ski boat from Chris. He was so nice and made things convenient by bringing the boat right to our dock. He had ski's, a tube and life jackets plus a cooler for food and waters. We had our 2 college kids with us and they loved it! The boat was great and had a canopy to get some shade. Our dog went for a boat ride too! The boat ran great and we had a blast! Thanks Chris, for a great boat experience. We will definitely rent from you in the future.
