“I have been boating since I was a child on my Uncle's boat. I bought my first boat in 1993 called the "Spoiled Rotten" a 24 foot deep V Cuddy Cabin. I spent as much time out on her as I could. Before I even Brought her home I took both the US Power Squadrons & USCG safety classes, as well as, further my education in seamanship, navigation, charts via Power Squadrons. I sold her in 1999 and saved up for Papa's Paradise which I finally purchased in 2011. I have taken her across the lake to Michigan, up to Milwaukee, and everywhere in between. I am well versed in all aspects of boating and safety procedures. ”

Richard was a great host for myself and my guests. The boat was as-advertised and very well kept. He had a brand new sound system that we used to play our music.

Renting Richard's boat was a great experience. His slip at Belmont Harbor is very easily accessible and the boat itself was great. He has updated the sound system with Bluetooth audio, there is a ton of space easily accommodating 10-12 people and the overall condition of the boat was near perfect. Richard was very gracious with his time explaining the many intricacies of not only his boat and how things operate, but navigating Lake Michigan as well. We'll definitely be renting from him again in the future.

Richard took our group of 8 out for the day and we could not have been more pleased! The boat is beautiful and a great size; we could have fit a few more people comfortably. From coordinating ahead of time, to everything the day of our trip, Richard was more than patient, helpful and a ton of fun! I will definitely look to book with him in the future. Thank you Richard!

What a thrill to be back on a boat after 5 years away. Richard's Cruiser 280cxi is the perfect size for boating on Lake Michigan. I was able to cruise around Navy Pier, Burnham Harbor and my favorite place on the lake, Jackson Inner Harbor. The boat performed well and Richard is an excellent host. If time allows I would like to take Papa's Paradise out again before the end of the 2015 season. Belmont Harbor is the perfect location to have a boat slip.

Richard's boat is gorgeous, and he was also kind enough to provide a great recommendation for where we could anchor it away from the main Labor Day crowds. Our group really enjoyed our time out on the Lake and all Richard's boat had to offer.

Our group had a great time on Richard's boat this past Saturday! He was very responsive with all of our questions ahead of time and the boat was a perfect size for our group of 12 people. Great sound system as well to play our music off of. I would definitely recommend and would love to rent again at some point!

Papa's Paradise is a beautiful boat and we had an incredible time with Rick as our guide on Lake Michigan. There were seven of us on the Papa's Paradise, but it could hold 10 comfortably. A day in Paradise!
