Captain Geoff was welcoming from the first moments stepping on board the Carefree Kate. He gave us a quick safety briefing and a tour of the vessel before getting underway. He gave us suggestions for our trip and he didn't disappoint. We had a great time exploring Isle of Shoals and seeing Boon Light House up close. Captain Geoff was knowledgable, pleasant and accommodating to the guests on board. I will definitely be sailing with Carefree Kate again in the future.

Our charter with Geoff was such a fun time! His sailboat is truly unique and even though we encountered some rain/weather the entire experience was amazing. Geoff is highly knowledgeable of the area and extremely friendly/welcoming. He was very accommodating and it was clear he just wanted us to have a fun and relaxing time (which is exactly what we needed!). Definitely recommend this charter for sailing in this beautiful NH region.

This was an amazing experience. The boat was beautiful and provided a nice balance of sun and shade as the day went on. I recently had the incredible experience of chartering my first ocean sailboat ride with American Mainsail Sailing Co., and I couldn’t have asked for a better time. Geoff, our captain, was not only highly professional and made us feel completely safe, but he also knew the area like the back of his hand. His knowledge of the local history and the finer details of the coastline added a fascinating layer to an already beautiful sunset sail. My last bit of advice, do not hesitate on booking Geoff!

Geoff was great! He gave us a choice of going up the river or to the isles of shoals, we pickled the isles and he gave us binoculars to see the seals! He also asks if you want a peaceful sail or an exciting sail which is great. He was very informative and friendly, will definitely do this again and can’t recommend it enough!!
