I took my 14 year old daughter and 20 lb pup with us to experience Lake Allatoona and we had a blast. The boat was old and the condition of the vinyl seating left much to be desired but it ran well and managed to do everything we asked of it.
Howard is a very nice gentleman and was very helpful pointing things out. Although this wasn't my first time captaining a boat it was nice because each boat is a bit different from one another.
All in all we had a great experience and pleased that it was just the three of us as the small boat would likely have been a bit cramped with a few extra folks.
Howard was great and very accommodating and easy going which was nice.

Great day on the water, Howard was right on time and went through the boat explaining everything thoroughly. The pictures of the boat are probably a few years old so the boat didn't look exactly like it does in the pictures, but for the price it was a great value. I will hopefully be renting from Howard again if I head to Lake Allatoona.

We really enjoyed our day out at the boat. The boat rental process with Howard went really smoothly. It's a small boat, but was perfect for just the two of us. It's also an older boat, so it was harder to steer, it was a little stiff. It was also challenging to accelerate smoothly, as the throttle was not that responsive.

Boat ran well and kids enjoyed tubing and initial attempts at skiing. Best to get on the lake as early in the day as possible during the summer to avoid the boat crowds and waves.

Howard and his boat are great for an amazing day on beautiful Lake Allatoona. The slip is at a full service marina and easily accessible with ample parking. Howard is easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions prior to arrival. The boat is in great condition and runs smooth, a great value compared to other more expensive listings. We will be renting from Howard again for sure.

Howard gave us a great day on the lake. Communication was great at every step, and he was punctual the day of, with a quick 411 of everything needed to know to run the boat. We had 5 people, 2 coolers and a small dog, and we were comfortable (but that’s max capacity). We tubed, swam, and listened to music and this boat was great for all three! Would highly recommend for the price and will rent again soon!

My friend and I rented a small boat for four hours at a reasonable price and Howard set the rental up at a time that met our schedule and made it so we could pay extra for his son Nate to fill up the tank for the gas we used.The price and the service made an excellent fun outing for two people. Location was easily found using Google maps and the drive from Atlanta was easy with pleasant scenery.

I rented Howard's boat for my 27th birthday and it was everything I needed for a girls' day out on the lake. I'd say a helpful tip from my experience would be to make sure the knots on the anchor are secure before dropping. We anchored about 3 times, and on the last time it didn't come back up in about 50 ft of water. I explained to Howard what happened and he was really cool about it. Look forward to booking again.
