Like all of his other 5-star reviews, I can't say enough good things about this experience - quick checkin/out process, perfect recommendations on where to go, boat is extremely fuel efficient and handles the waterways well. All safety equipment there and working and the depth-finder + GPS made navigating the area easy. The boat was the perfect size for two adults and our two medium sized dogs. Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. And we enjoyed meeting Michael's pup Skipper. We would definitely rent again (and hope to in the future!)

We had a great time out on the water and Upper Captiva beach. St James city is an easy place to get out from and Michael was extremely helpful and the boat was great

We had an overcast/windy day today but Michael had 3 great options for us to take on depending on our comfortability. The boat handled great and was very efficient on gas, as described! Check in and out process was smooth sailing! Thank you Michael! We would definitely book again!!

Michael and his boat are just as advertised if not better! Mike was extremely responsive and communicative prior to the booking and leading up to the handoff/during the rental as needed. We were renting in Captiva and Mike was so kind as to drive his vessel across the sound allowing me to drop him back off for a much quicker drop-off and pick-up at either end of the trip. Mike also provided a handful of great recommendations for local day trips during our stay - world class guy and total all around experience! Cannot wait to get out there again soon!

Thank you Michael for great day fishing Fl's Pine Island & St. James City. Very nice owner greated us for on-time reservation. The boat was tied-up and ready-to-go. Owner provide for, and demonstrated, all safety/sea-worthy features of the boat. As well as, provide his "tips" on nearby fishing spots, points of interest & local fare accessable by boat. So. PI & SJC provides for some of FL's most beautiful/unique habitat for marine-life. I look forward to revisiting with Micheal in the future.

We had a great time, the boat is small enough to handle easily while still has everything you need to safely navigate the waters with markers plotted on the screen. We went to Matlacha and the GPS and fish finder with depth alarm were invaluable to avoid getting grounded - those waters can be shallow. I recommend reviewing the navigation routes in a paper chart to familiarize yourself with the routes - Michael can help, he is a great host, checked us out quickly and yet not rushed. He took the time to answer my questions and gave good recommendations on where to go. He also showed us the instruments and how everything worked in the boat, great guy.

My wife & I have rented boats all ver Florida, and renting from Mike was the best experience of years of renting. His 17' is the perfect boat for a great weekend on the waters. Large bimini to protect from a day in the sun. Great, reliable Honda outboard started right up every time. But the absolute best thing is Mike. When you rent from an experienced Sailer you know the boat is solid and seaworthy. (Something we can't say about boats we've rented in the Keys). This is a great boat for a family want8ing to explore the waters and do a little fishing. Thanks, Mike! We'll be back!

Michael is great! Convenient canal location right off the ICW. Very good tip on a perfect place to shore anchor. We changed our plans and it could not have worked out better. Very reliable and efficient workhorse boat. She has a shallow running draft and plenty of room for our party of 4 and one Basenji. Four stars for Michael.

Great experience renting from Michael from reservation to returning the boat. Highly recommend for fishing or pleasure cruising at an incredible value.

Michael was very courteous and polite. Filled us in on how to use the boat. Gave us great pointers and tips! We took the boat to Captiva Island my husband fished and I laid on the beach! And the shells were amazing! The boat says it's for five but it was perfect just for my husband and myself. There's also a great bait shop a mile before Michael's house... Pine Island bait and tackle!
PS... Michael FYI...we didn't leave the anchor line in knots, I believe the previous renters did that!

Had an amazing week boating thanks to Michael’s help and advice. The boat saves plenty of money on fuel but ran very well. Easy to dock and no issues with the shallow waters in the area. I can’t say enough about Michael in regards to his responsiveness to any concerns or needs and helped my family have a great time in an area we had never visited before. Thanks Michael!

Great boat, great guy!

Michael was very helpful in explaining everything about his boat and electronics. Motor ran very well and boat handles just fine. We had never been on the water in this area before and Michael was very helpful in steering us in the right direction for a really nice relaxing day and suggested a great restaurant for a boat up lunch.
