Great boat and lake. We had a lot of fun!

Lara was great to work with! Easy to communicate with, fast to respond, proactive in staying in touch. She was super accommodating and made us feel welcome and right at home on her boat. She walked us through the pontoon, gave us a very thorough introduction to the boat and made sure that we felt comfortable with it and the lake. She let us use her tubes for free for the day and even though we were running over an hour late, she let us use the boat later than we'd signed up for. She and her family helped us carry our items off of the boat and to our car afterwards as well. It was an A+ experience overall and we are already booked to come back tomorrow! Can not WAIT!

Second time renting from Lara and this experience was just as great! She is very fast with communication and went out of her way to make my daughter's birthday party on the boat a success. Excellent experience from beginning to end. We were the only boat out on the water for the first 90 minutes and then one of maybe 6 for the rest of our 11-3 booking.

Lara was such a great host!! She responded so quickly to every message I had before our reservation. The boat was in perfect shape and very clean. It was awesome that the tube was provided and it was so much fun!! Lara made sure we knew exactly how to use the boat and made my first boat setter experience awesome. 10/10 recommend.

Lara and Scott were excellent owners! It was my first rental through Boatsetters and they were very friendly and had excellent communication. We requested that they wear a mask and they were happy to do so. The pontoon was in "like new" condition and had a powerful motor perfect for pulling my thrill seeking kids around on a tube and riding on the kneeboard. No slow rides on this one! Stereo system was nice (bring an aux cord to hook up your phone) and it was sparkling clean. The boat is at their home so it is a quick review of the condition and you are off. When you consider that the price includes gas (usually $25-$40 for 4 hours at a Marina) and the use of their tube ($40 rental fee at other places), this is a real bargain for a boat of this caliber. You park in their driveway, too, so no worries there.

When I rented I was a little worried because the lake is relatively small, but we were on the lake on a Thursday and had the whole thing to ourselves for the first two hours and then there were 4-6 other boats out for the second half so it was not an issue at all. The fact that there is no public access means that all the boaters know what they are doing, too, so people were very good about not getting close or being reckless. Water temp was nice (cool, not cold) and the lake is easy to navigate as far as no areas you need to avoid for depth reasons, large underwater rocks, etc. Perfect day on the lake and we will be back!

There is a nice, sandy public beach on one end (or Silver Lake bike trails 10 minutes away) if you want to do something before or after the rental to make a whole day of it.

Stellar host. Very professional. Fantastic Pontoon. Loved all the extra watercraft toys, too! Great Lake to swim. Ton of fun.

My family and I had a great time renting Lara's boat for a birthday celebration! The whole rental process was easy and thorough. Lara was awesome to communicate with, always responded quickly to all my questions, and gave a thorough walk through to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our boating time. The boat rental came with amazing extra perks like a tube, flotation devices, and cooler with ice! The day was a much needed fun family time out on the lake, something you rarely get to experience if you don't own a boat. Thank you to Lara for sharing her boat with us! Would highly recommend and rent from her again.

Our 2nd day in a row to rent Lara's boat and as we were thrilled. First day was just 2 adults and a few dogs, today we had 2 kids and 5 adults. The boat had plenty of room for all of us and even though its on a small lake, its easy to spend 4 or 5 hours driving and drifting, swimming and tubing. Another A+ experience with Lara and her family. We will be back!

Lara is very organized and ensures you have the details for the rental. We were on the water in about 15 mins after arriving which was great. The boat is like new and runs very well. The lake is one of the smaller ones in Wisconsin, which we found relaxing for a half day rental.

We had an absolute blast! This was our family’s first time renting a boat, and I can confidently say that we will rent from Lara again!

She is an absolutely lovely human being, and was a pleasure to rent from. She made sure we had everything we needed for a great day and even offered to provide us with a cooler!

Needless to say Lara gets 5 stars all-around!

Our family had a great time. Lara was very responsive when going through rental process and answered any questions we had. She did a very thorough walk thru of the boat for safety and operation. She provides a tube as well as other nice floatation devices. She even put sun screen and paper products on the boat for our use. The boat was really nice. Well cleaned, really quiet engine and it had plenty of power to pull adults on a tube and provide a good ride. We would definitely highly recommend This rental.
