“I have been boating since I was a little kid with my Father. Our first boat was a 22 foot sailboat which we used to day sail up and down the hudson river. We have been going to Shelter Island since the early 80's and we had an aluminum row boat with a 6hp engine which we used to go porgy fishing. In 1987 we bought a 26 foot lobster skiff which we still have today. That boat has been used to explore the long island sound, shark fishing off of Montauk, and sail up the hudson to the great lakes. When I moved back to NYC from London where I lived for 13 years, the first thing I bought was my 2007 Sailfish. I bought it because it is solid, economical and very comfortable in heavy weather.”
