My family had an awesome and relaxing time sailing with Captain Dan. The whole trip was seamless. He was experienced and very professional. Highly recommended.

Wonderful evening & captain. Only reason for 4 stars is I was under the impression this was a private excursion via a direct booking site (versus a “group” company). When we showed up, we were introduced to another party who accompanied us. They were lovely but the rental was for the time (not per person) & there was no mention it was a group outing, despite my messages that this was for a surprise sunset birthday dinner. If you want a private excursion, this may not be for you (or confirm).

Captain Dan was a great host and sailer!

Fabulous day on the water with a very personable and knowledgeable captain. We had a brisk west wind this morning with the winds off shore and flat seas! A perfect sailing day. Thank you Captain Dan for our first coastal cruise! We will be back!

Dan is a professional, knowledgeable, and fun captain. He customized the trip based on our feedback - adding in a tour of the yacht yard and a great swimming stop.

Captain Dan provides a wonderful experience on the water! We took my dad out to relive his glory sailing days and had a great time! Captain Dan allows you to customize your sailing experience. Last time we went swimming, this time we spent more time sailing. The boat is beautiful and the journey was amazing. Highly recommend!

Sailing with Captain Dan was so awesome! We booked this sail boat ride to celebrate my husbands birthday. I am so glad we chose the Sail Wind Pirate! We had four beautiful hours of sunshine, informative, enlightening and fun conversation with our host.
We felt welcomed, cared for and most importantly SAFE. He and his wife are a great team! My husband and I enjoyed lunch and beverages as we sailed blissfully passed million dollar homes and greeted bridge lifters. Will definitely book again!

We enjoyed a beautiful day at sea with Captain Dan. We sailed, swam, and toured the inlets of Fort Lauderdale. The weather and the Boat were beautiful and Dan was super accommodating. Our group would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing day on the water!

Smooth and seamless day out on the water - would highly recommend spending your time on the water on this beautiful boat with a great captain . Captain Dan is very easy going and great to speak with; knowledgeable about the boat, sailing, the area and just showing folks a good time. We were a group of 4 and the boat was more than spacious. Coming out of a personal slip is also a plus, saves a lot of time. Captain Dan called before hand to ask what we are looking for on the trip, then gave options once on the boat for what the group can do. Will be back at first available opportunity - thanks Captain Dan!

Dan and the Wind Pirate were great. We had ify weather to start and he let us adjust plans to make the best of the day. Dan was a great Captain who helped make a wonderful trip. Book now without hesitation!! 5 stars look forward to going again!

Captain Dan was informative and it was a great experience for our family. He managed to get our 93 year old mom aboard. A nice vessel and an interesting tour of Ft Lauderdale from the water’s perspective was obligatory but welcome, in order to get to open water (which we desired)

Captain Dan was absolutely fantastic for a very important 4-hr cruise/sail. Close friends visiting from KC had just received devastating medical news and this trip helped add some sunshine to their lives. Dan was accompanying in so many ways. We got a super intercostal tour along with just the right amount of medium-rough ocean sailing. Dan made my antsy wife feel very comfortable with is confident, capable & calm demeanor - safety and fun!! Value plus!! Thanks.
