Ty's boat is immaculate and far better equipped for a day out than most anything else available. And Ty is extremely pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Decidedly a great boat to book

More than we could have hoped for; Ty had the boat prepped before we even showed up (which was early) and ensured a proper rundown was given. Came out to a ramp he had never launched from so we could start our swim in the same location as the support boat, and was very helpful and a pleasure to speak with. Couldn’t recommend more!

Five stars is definitely not enough stars to rate the whole experience with Ty. From the first conversation to the last he was always really attentive. Answering any and all question's, going over all the operation's of his boat, and most of all the most important Ty wants you to have a great day on the water. Boat is brand new, as described, and operate's like a dream. Don't look anywhere else Ty will not disappoint you. Thanks again Ty we will be back.

Things couldn't have been better. Ty was wonderful to work with. Very responsive, answered all my questions and a wealth of knowledge around the bay. He had extra life jackets for my kids. He had everything ready to go when we arrived, ready for us when we returned. We had a great time on his boat and my kids enjoyed themselves. Great boat for fishing! Very easy to steer and has all the features one needs. I would definitely recommend him and his boat and will definitely go to him again.

My experience with Ty, from start to finish was excellent. He responded to my initial message within minutes, answered all my questions and was willing to accommodate my requests about early morning rental/departure. The boat is and shows as brand new, is well laid out and the engine had plenty of power to spare while we were offshore chasing birds and looking for kelp paddy’s. Ty seems to be a genuinely good dude, honest and personable. I’ll be back out on his boat again soon.

He provided everything from life vests for my boys, to the nuances of his boat, to navigational and fishing tips. Easy and convenient. Ty was prompt and waiting for us at the dock, boat ready and info pass on for operation and safety. Nice boat and electronics as well as fairly dry for our run up to La Jolla cove and back. Would surely book again.

This was my first time using Boatsetter to rent a boat. I’m not exaggerating to say that Renting from Ty was a wonderful experience. The boat is a fishing machine. The Simrad Sonar GPS has great fish finding capability. It was spotting fish for us fast as we pulled up to new locations.

The toughest thing about the entire experience was the winds and the waves, but there isn’t much you can do about Mother Nature. Ty’s boat handled it with ease.
