“I grew up absolutely blessed with summer adventures on my family's sailboat, I started powerboating as soon as I was strong enough to pull start the outboard engine on my own. Shortly thereafter, boating adventures, waterskiing, wakeboarding, island hopping, and competitive sailing occupied any available time. I earned a bachelors degree and a teachers certification but after a couple years, I saw that going boating and teaching boating was so much more FUN than life teaching elementary school. I continued my education and earned a masters degree in education while working as a full time boating skills instructor and program administrator. With the heart of a teacher and the spirit of the water, I love life and haven't looked back. I'm a maritime professional with more than 18 years of professional experience with more than double that including recreational time on the water. As a long time St Petersburg resident I know our west coast Florida waterways, tides, weather, as well as all the best boat-only beaches, waterfront bars, shelling spots, and where to find the perfect sunset. I'm skilled at providing family-friendly or adult adventures, allow me to deliver exactly what you and your party desires for an absolutely prefect boat day. I'm a self proclaimed boat geek, a certified US Coast Guard Master (and a captain too), a US Powerboating Instructor and Instructor Trainer, as well as a US Department of the Interior Motorboat Operator Certification Course Instructor.
