“Ahoy! I'm Capt Steve Simard, a licensed master. My professional seagoing career began at age 21 as an officer on US flagged merchant ships following graduation from Maine Maritime Academy. Also, US Naval Reserve Officer. I have always had property on or near the water and enjoyed spending my free time on sail or motor pleasure boats. I have accumulated 1000's of safe days at sea between my seagoing career and pleasure boating. We have owned property and boated in SW Florida since 2012 and enjoy sharing its Splenda on water.”

We had with Steve a wonderful cruise. He showed us the right places to watch dolphins, collect shells and for a swim.

Captain Steve turned into uncle Steve by the end of the day. Our 6 hour booking with him was amazing. He was a complete expert and allowed us to enjoy the celebration of life for my 29th birthday. It was an A+ all around the board. I will definitely be booking again!

We really enjoyed our trip with Captain Steve and Captain Joy. The boat was clean and very accommodating. Steve and Joy are very knowledgeable of the area, and were great hosts. We had a group of 7 guys for a bachelor party, and had an awesome time. Would recommend this for anyone who wants a nice cruise, or even a bit of partying!

What a wonderful day on the water. It was such a pleasure cruising and sightseeing with Captain Steve and Joy. They were both so professional, knowledgeable about the area, and really enjoyable to be around. The boat was very comfortable with space for everyone, terrific swim platform, and so many amenities. I can’t say enough good things about our overall experience, and we’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Captain Steve was absolutely wonderful! From ensuring we knew how to get to the boat, to giving us bags for shelling on North Captiva, he provided such an amazing day. We saw multiple pods of dolphins that actually swam in our wake. He was so kind and helped us with anything we needed. Steve was also so generous to extend our booking while at sea. My group had the best day and I would not hesitate to book again. The boat was perfect and so nice. Thank you so much, Steve!

Steve and his wife were great. Our family of 4 adults and 4 teenagers all had a great time. We tubed on the way out, stopped for some swimming at a beach. We saw some dolphins and ended our trip catching the sunset. Steve’s boat was comfortable and he’s a great captain.

Steve and Joy were a pleasure to enjoy a fun day out on the water with. Steve was very informative and a fun person to be around. We were able to enjoy the beaches in Captiva Island and also tube in the Gulf. 10/10, highly recommend.

Highly recommend this boat charter. Captain Steve and Denise were very organized and a pleasure to visit with. We loved taking in the local shoreline, anchoring and floating, and then topping the day off with a tube ride. A Fort Myers must!
