I grew up sailing dinghys, beach cats, and small keel boats, and now own, pleasure sail and race a Catalina 22 on Folsom Lake, CA with my wife and kids. When the water goes away in Folsom, we trailer sail other local lakes, Tahoe being our favorite. Best sailing vacation ever, though, was chartering a Beneteau 37 in the BVIs last year.
