Sorry anglers, fishing from the boat is not allowed.
Peak Season Notice (June – August): Please ensure all members of your party enter the park at least 30 minutes prior to your reservation start time. Contact us immediately if you experience delays entering. On high-traffic days, park rangers may close the entrance gates between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM.

RENTAL DETAILS:
- Minimum rental duration: 4 hours
- No captain provided (this is a self-drive bareboat rental)
- We launch and retrieve the boat at the Granite Bay (Douglas Road) - Folsom Lake stage 4 boat ramp—no trailering required by the renter
- Boat use is restricted entirely to Folsom Lake
CHECK-IN AND ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS:
- Primary booking guest must present a valid government-issued ID matching the Boatsetter account name.
- All members of the booking party must be present at check-in prior to disembarking.
- Mismatched IDs or missing party members will result in the reservation being canceled inline with our standard cancelation policy.
REQUIREMENTS AND RULES:
- Driver must be 25 years or older with a valid ID.
- Operators must follow all California boating laws.
- No pets allowed on board.
- No smoking allowed on board.
- Strictly no operating the vessel under the influence.
- No beaching the boat at any time.
- No leaving Folsom Lake while the reservation is active.
INCLUDED WITH EVERY RENTAL:
- Full or partial tank of fuel to start your reservation (see fuel policy)
- Kicker Bluetooth sound system with a 12-inch subwoofer
- U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets (12 included; personal jackets recommended for best fit)
- All required marine safety gear
- On-site safety walkthrough and complete operation orientation

- Towable 2-person inner tube
- Floating lily pad (fits 4–6 people)

CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Free cancellation up to 5 days before the rental start time.
- 50% refund for cancellations submitted 3–5 days prior.
- No refunds within 48 hours of start time or for no-shows.
- Unsafe weather conditions: Reschedule at no charge or receive a full refund.

Security deposit
A security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental. This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made. The security deposit amount for the boat you are booking will be outlined during the check-out process.
