Sacramento’s Most Popular Experiences

When it rains, Sacramento can flood because it is at the mouth of the American and Sacramento Rivers. When the weather is calm, here are some of the best things to do on your Sacramento rental.

Water Skiing
If you select a powerboat for your Sacramento boat rental, this could be the ideal place to try some water skiing. Just check if your Boatsetter rental already has the gear you need.

Fishing at North Mill Creek
North Mill Creek is the perfect place to try out many different types of fishing. You can fish directly from the boat, or you could try a few other options. The landscape is mostly gravel, which provides a perfect platform for wading. There are also canoe and kayak launch points, which might allow you to explore the shallower areas a little more. You might expect to catch trout, catfish, big and smallmouth bass, or perch.

Bird Watching
With beautiful natural surroundings, North Mill Creek is perfect for observing nature and bird watching. In addition to North Mill Creek, there are plenty of other attractive locations around Sacramento where you can try and spot all of the various local species. Before setting out, you may want to contact the Sacramento Audubon Society because they often host trips across the whole region to spot birds. They also offer tips on ways to conserve the local environment.
