Destin's Best Bodies of Water for Boating

Gator Beach

Gator Beach provides a safe adventure where you can learn more about alligators. Don't miss the free educational wildlife exhibit, which includes an artificial wetland pond with over a hundred live alligators.

Crab Island

Sail your Destin boat rental north of the Marler Bridge to Crab Island, a must-see attraction for all visitors. Although there is no actual land area at Crab Island, the water is incredibly shallow, ranging from 1-4ft deep in most places. At high tide, you will find it to be crystal clear.

Desoto Canyon

If you are in the mood for some serious fishing, sail your Destin boat rental a few miles offshore to the Desoto Canyon. But make sure you come prepared because this canyon is home to some of the largest swordfish you can imagine.
