Although Kemah is a relatively small city, it’s actually home to an abundance of marinas. That’s because most people who go there are actually visitors from Houston looking to get away for the weekend. Here you can find several different options and a huge range of sips from Marina del Sol to the Waterford Harbor Yacht Club and Marina. The most famous, however, is Boardwalk Marina which is located along the massive theme park and features the largest variety of slips, ships and everything you need before you head out on a sea voyage.
Don’t let Kemah’s easygoing and friendly atmosphere fool you because you can find some seriously good food here. Kemah is any boating enthusiast’s paradise. The weather and conditions are good for the majority of the year and you have the option to explore many amazing areas. Most fishermen agree that heading over to the brackish waters of Clear Lake is a truly enjoyable experience while divers and snorkelers prefer heading out into the Gulf to enjoy some of the great spots out there. You can even enjoy some of the great beaches like El Jardin and Sylvan Beach Park.
