We had a great sailing day on Georg's Catalina 36. The boat is in good shape and everything was in good working order and neat and clean. Georg's descriptions and instructions were fantastic and made everything easy. He also provided a lot of great ideas for our sailing itinerary. I'd love to sail on his boat again in the future and would highly recommend him and his boat.

Georg was great, even though he was abroad he fixed everything remotely, and made sure we could get to the boat. The boat is great for cruising on the bay or an overnight, roomy, very clean and fast and stable.

Greg organized an excellent trip for us. Despite part of our team being an hour late, he didn't complain. We agreed to sail for 2 hours instead of 3, but in the end, he extended the sailing to 3 hours complimentary. He shared the history of San Francisco and treated us to awe-inspiring sunsets and a magnificent night view of the city from the water.

Had a great trip sailing the bay. S.V. Seahorse is in splendid condition, is very turn-key and it sails just perfectly! We even had whales come by to check out our crew! Georg was wonderful, very accomodating and very helpful with explaining the boat to us. Highly recommendable and will do it again next time I'm in SF!

This was such a magical experience -- sunset sail in the Bay! Georg was super fast in responding to my questions and was able to accommodate a last-minute request. Marc (Captain) was absolutely amazing -- great stories.

The boat was in beautiful condition and was the perfect size for the four of us to explore the bay. The cabin is surprisingly large and spacious -- lots of room to store food/drink and a comfortable bathroom. The deck has plenty of room to sit and we really enjoyed moving forward to sit close to the bow, dangling our feet over the edges. All in all, I would absolutely rent this craft again.

Captain Georg was awesome. He was friendly and personable. He was also very knowledgeable not only about sailing but about the history of the Bay and the City.

Renting the Catalina 36 from George was great. The entire experience was easy quick and fairly priced. I am still amazed this whole thing is even possible and true. By far the highlight of my trip to SF. The boat is in a prefect starting location to explore the bay. The Catalina 36 is rigged for easy sailing and accommodated 7 people very comfortably.

It was a successful experience I planed my party in a boat two days before and every things was perfect.

This was our second time on the Seahorse, and it was wonderful. Georg and Shaunte were incredibly accommodating, especially considering some challenges with my group's timing. The boat was in great shape and sails very easily. Winds were pretty strong, probably upwards of 25 knots through the slot, so we sailed with a reefed main and about 2/3 of the jib most of the day, and she held up great and didn't scare the first-timers on board with us. We made it up to the Richmond San Rafael bridge and back for a great half day on the bay.

Cant wait to get back on this boat, great working with George and seahorse is in great condition for a day on the bay.

I took relatives from the east coast out for a day on the bay, They had a great time. Seahorse provided a comfortable sail right out of South Beach. The Catalina handled extremely well in 20 knot breezes under the Gate to showing off going wing and wing through Racoon Straights. It is an older boat, but well maintained and easy to handle. Georg was great to work with, excellent communication. I felt like I had sailed the boat a dozen times before I ever got there. Definitely recommend taking Seahorse for a ride.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day on Seahorse. We arrived to find the boat is in very good shape, with a number of nice upgrades and a well maintained boat. The sails were rigged to raise and lower easily and the engine started easily and ran smoothly. The electric head was a first for us and a definite plus. The owner George was terrific – touching base with us several times before our sail and asking how it went at the end of the day. We highly recommend Seahorse and Georg and look forward to sailing Seahorse again. This was our first time with Boatbound, which also exceeded our expectations – reminding us in advance of our sail, emailing insurance policies and, in case we needed it, contact numbers for towing services or claims. We did not need these items, but they were good to have with us in case we did.

We enjoyed a sail from South Beach Harbor past Alcatraz to the Golden Gate Bridge, returning past the Sausalito harbor front. Seahorse handled the conditions beautifully. It was quite fun to arrive at the Marina just before a Giants evening game – a few people in our party walked over to the game.

We loved Georg's boat-- it was clean and well-appointed, kept in great shape. He was easy to work with and the Bay was gorgeous! We'll look forward to renting another time!

Seahorse is a great boat! We sailed her in all sorts of weather conditions. Started the day with 8 knots and lots of sun, finished the day with fog, 20 knots and gusts at 25. Main was easy to reef, roller furling jib was much appreciated too :)

The galley is very well maintained, there is plenty of space for 6 people inside.

Georg was awesome, he takes great care of his boat, is very responsive and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze.

An excellent bareboat rental for the bay. It sailed well in winds of 5kt (all sails) up to 26kt (reefed main, no or partial jib). The mainsail stackpack, a good reef point, and roller furling jib made it easy to adapt to changing winds. Weather helm is well controlled and stability was very good with only minor spray. It is kept in great condition. The manager and owner were clear, professional and did exactly what they said they would. Nice harbor too. We're definitely planning to come back.

I had an excellent time on the seahorse. The boat is easy to manage and very well kept. We were pretty comfortable with 10 people for the day but I wouldn't take anymore.

Georg was very responsive and made the logistics easy. Very convenient location, with parking passes. The boat was exactly what I expected from talking/emailing with Georg. It was very comfortable for our 7 person crew. I will rent again with Georg.

Georg's Catalina was great! It's in a great location in the city with easy access to the Bay. We had a great day sailing in 10-15 knots of wind and only used the motor for a short while to come in and out of the slip. Georg was also very responsive over the phone and provided all of the information about the boat that I needed. My guests and I had a wonderful time and I would love to charter this boat again!

Our company had planned a half day outing after morning rain, and things couldn't have gone more smoothly. The Cat 36 is a classic, spacious cruiser beautifully maintained by Georg and with a fresh breeze under the Golden Gate, we smoothly exceeded 8 kts. I would also highly recommend this craft for either a family overnight behind Angel's Island or weekend outing, as well. She is a beauty, Georg.

I chartered Seahorse for two consecutive days, and Georg was incredibly helpful! Not only that, but the Catalina 36 was clean and in great working order. The only problem is that 2 days was not enough. Therefore, I will definitely be chartering Seahorse again!

This Catalina 36 is the perfect size for a small sailing party and for cruising on the San Francisco Bay. It is well equipped, and while big enough to navigate the sometimes lively bay waters, is compact enough to provide a thrilling sailing experience.
