This boat's location and general conditions is perfect for getting out on the bay. The checkout was smooth, and efficient. Boat sails well with three, with a nice roller furling headsail and easily reefed main. Strong and newer model engine help getting in and out of the slip.

I've very much enjoyed renting Ilya's . It's very spacious - it comfortably fits 6 people in the cockpit.
It has all the essentials for an enjoyable day trip on the bay. Ilya was very friendly and patiently explained everything that one needs to know about the boat.

I look forward to the next time.

Ilya was perfect. I had contacted him about my plan to propose to my girlfriend on the trip, and he worked with me to surprise her. He had clear instructions on when and where to meet him, was chill while on the water, and obviously great with communication. I can't thank you enough, Ilya!

Ilya was straightforward to deal with. We had a great morning sail on the Santana. It's small enough to handle easily but it also has the weight to get around quite well and is well equipped.

Amazing location! The boat was set up well, clean, and sailed well. The boat has a huge open cockpit that could fit 6 people. It was easy to communicate with Ilya, he was on time, and explained everything well.

Ilya responded promptly with our requests once we really booked the rental. The Colgate is a sweet boat that's easy to use and goes even in a puff. The picnic table cockpit lends itself to plenty ondeck but was beautiful for three.

Ilya was a great renter. He is a very skilled sailor who wanted a few hours of orientation operating a twin screw vessel before chartering a large catamaran in the caribbean. He mastered the fundamentals quickly. I highly recommend Ilya for other Boatbound excursions!

The Colgate 26' is a great day-sailer for exploring the San Francisco Bay. Boat was clean, in great shape and in docked in a terrific location.

We had a great sail from the dock around Angel Island, into Sausolito, though Golden Gate bridge and back home. Left at 11am back around 5pm.

The Colgate 26 was a great boat for the bay, and Ilya was very helpful, punctual and gave us a thorough rundown of the boats systems. The meeting place to pick up the boat was exceptionally convenient. We returned a little early and Illya was very understanding and picked the boat up right after we tied up and put her away. I would definitely rent this boat again. Great value for a stiff boat that can handle a typical SF bay day.

This was one of the best charters I've ever had. Ilya was super easy to deal with, gave a great boat walkthrough, and was promptly responsive throughout the whole process.

The boat itself was great. It's a little old so the gelcoat isn't gleaming - but the engine's reliable, the sails are in good shape, and it handles beautifully. What's more: the slip is about 20 yards in from the boundary between the marina and the Bay, so you don't waste any time getting in and out. Overall, a fantastic experience for a very reasonable price. I'll be back.

We loved sailing on Ilya's Colgate. It's fun, easy to sail, comfortable and fast, the perfect boat for a few friends to tour the bay, or sail to angel island. Ilya made it super easy for us. Each time we rented it was a seamless process and we were out on the water in no time. I'm definitely going to keep renting from him in the future.

I had a fun time on the Colgate 26. Ilya was very welcoming and gave a great overview of the boat. The boat is in a great location too. The roller furling jib worked great and made our day easier. The boat sailed very nice. We also had no problems with the motor. Very nice boat!

The boat rental from Ilya could not have gone more smoothly! And the dock location is absolutely perfect, right downtown near all the sites. Ilya met me bright and early to go over the boat, and we were off and sailing in no time. The Colgate 26 is a great daysailer, with very neutral handling and plenty of space in the cockpit for a large crew. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again the next time I'm in the Bay Area!

The overall experience on the Colgate 26 was great. Ilya gave us the run down of the boat in about 15 minutes, then we were off to Tiburon. The boat ran great and we will definitely be renting it again.

We had a great time out on Ilya's boat this past weekend! The boat was super comfortable for the 6 of us, and Ilya was great to go out with. He taught a few of us the finer points of sailing as we cruised around the bay, and we even saw some of the those elusive bay dolphins!

I loved sailing on Ilya's Colgate. He was super nice, easy going and a real pro. The boat's in a great location so you're out on the bay in no time. It's also in great shape and sails fast. I'll definitely be looking to get out again asap.
