What does your boat’s name say about you?

According to BoatUs, the most popular boat name for 2015 was Serenity.  Is that a reflection on the current state of affairs in the average boat owner’s life? If so, let’s all take an ever-so-short break from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives and have some boating fun! The Boatsetter team had serious fun followed by out-loud giggles compiling the list of great boat names we’ve encountered out on the waterways, docks and sandbars during our boating adventures!

This list of boat names may not for the faint of heart…but we think you’re going to get a kick out of it!

The Boatsetter Team’s Most Outrageous Boat Names List

“Plan B”
“Vodka”
The ever present “Aquaholic”
“Yeah Bouy”
“Vitamin Sea”
“Whiskey Tango Foxtrot” (Phonetic alphabet for WTF)
“Fish and Chicks”
“Eggs-ta-Sea”
“Exta-Sea”
“The Office” (What are you doing? I’m at “The Office”)
“My Better Half”
“Gashole”

Boat owners often lead busy lives and find less time than they’d care to admit to break away and find the state of “serenity” onboard their pride and joy. In fact, stats reflect that on average a boat is used  only 14 days per year by its owner! Imagine, if during all those weekends that you are tied up with events, business trips and household chores, you could be “sharing” your boat and making a legit return on your investment.

It’s as easy as creating a profile online for your boat and hitting the “go” button. Be sure to choose a leading company that provides licensed and experienced captains if needed, lines up the best available insurance for the duration of the charter as well as lets you stay in control of the details…like Boatsetter of course!

Then spend 5 minutes or so getting your boat rental listing zipped up and serenity could be yours in the form of rental income (not the boat that won the 2015 Boat Name of the Year nod, of course!)

Have a great boat name to share? Please do…we could spend all day doing this!
