Bonita Springs’ Most Popular Experiences

Bonita Springs can be a good place to do some fishing. Here are three of the most popular places to fish in Bonita Springs.

Bonita Beach Park
Between Fort Myers Beach and Bonita Springs, you’ll find this large beachfront park. There is a boardwalk area and a safe swimming section. Sand dunes and coastal vegetation surround a gazebo and eight picnic shelters. You can fish straight from your Bonita Springs boat rental, or you can dock the boat and try some fishing from the beach.

Little Hickory Island Beach Park
This is a secluded park and beach. Surf fishing is a favorite activity in this park. The beach is wide and clean and there are lots of restrooms, picnic tables, and showers. A ramp runs from the parking lot to the sand, allowing accessibility for wheelchairs.

Lovers Key State Park
Enjoy the tropical conditions in the area and then sail your boat rental to Lovers Key, where you can do some kayaking or canoeing around the nearby Calusa Indian site called Mound Key, and then rest on the beach with some chairs and umbrellas.
